One one end of the life boat Annabeth and my twin were talking with Tyson next to Percy. Travis and I were sitting in the other side.
"Who was Luke talking about?" I ask.
He looks a little awkward at the question.
"It's ok don't tell me. Just please don't doing anything stupid. When Hades had my mom in the underworld I was ready to stay down there to save her. If I had I would have been killed sparking a war between the gods. I don't want to loose you," I say.
After we came off Luke's boat he'd been shaken about the vague conversation he had with Luke. He'd needed to talk to someone and I don't think Annabeth or Percy are in the mood.
"I want them to be safe. I want my younger brother safe as well. I'm not even shaken because of the conversation. I'm shaken because of how he acted and just how he looked," Travis says.
"I could tell seeing him hit you hard," I say.
"I'll be fine I just need time," he says.
"Do you want to be alone?" I ask.
"No," he says quickly in a panic.
"Ok," I say softly.
I hear a loud chugging noise and I see an old rusty ship pull next to our orange life boat. I look to the deck and see Clarisse standing with her arms crossed.
"You five are in big trouble. Captain, bring these losers aboard," she says.
A set of skeleton monsters grab our arms hoisting us onto Clarisse's ship. We are taking into a room that looked like a cell.
"Tantalus expelled you lot for life. Mr.D said that if you showed your face around camp again he'll turn you into squirrels and run you over with his jeep," says Clarisse.
"Did tantalus give you this ship?" Asks Percy.
"The spirits in the losing side of every war owes a tribute to my dad. I just prayed to him for naval support and here it is. The crew will do anything I tell them," says Clarisse.
"Where are you cabin mates? There are suppose to be three heroes to a quest," says Annabeth.
"I didn't- I let them stay behind to protect camp," says Clarisse.
"More like they didn't want to help you. Tantalus is using you. He'd love to see the camp destroyed. He's setting you up to fail!" Says Annabeth.
"You three are my guest for now, but you can just as easily be my prisoners. So I suggest you stay here until told otherwise. Sleep tight loser. Make sure the bed bugs night," says Clarisse.
Travis was sitting on one of the crusty beds. I walk over to him.
"If I'm expelled from camp where would I go?" Travis says frazzled.
He's had a horrible day and it all my fault.
"I- I- don't know. I'm so sorry you got dragged into this. If you had stayed at camp you wouldn't be expelled and you wouldn't have seen Luke," I say
"I volunteered to go. This isn't your fault," he says, "I think it's just been a long day."
"I agree, let's just go to sleep," I say to the rest of them.
