I see Travis and Annabeth running our way. Annabeth hugs Percy and Travis gives me a kiss.

"I thought you were dead!" Travis yells at me.

"I know. I'm sorry," I say kissing him again, "the ship exploded, we passed out, we landed in my dads palace and he wouldn't let us stay and help him," I say in one long breath.

"I'm sure you two did everything you could," says Chiron referring to Beckendorf's death.

Travis puts him arm around my waist keeping me close to him.

"Chiron, we saw our dad. His kingdom is under attack from Oceanus. But he made us leave anyway. He said to tell you it's time. We need to know the full prophecy," Percy says.

"I've dreaded this day. Very well. I will convene a war council. There are many matters to discuss. Annabeth will take you to learn the truth- all of it," says Chiron.

I look at Travis.

"I'm sorry I keep leaving. I don't want to go I just want to stay with you I- I I'm sorry," I say quickly.

"Hey it's ok. You didn't choose this. If you didn't have to do this you wouldn't. Just calm down. I'm not going anywhere. We're both going to make it through this and then we can just be together. I love you so much," Travis says.

"I love you too. I- I don't deserve you. I'll see you later," I say giving him another kiss.

He takes his arm off my waist and I trudge away with Percy and Annabeth. We walk up to the big house and into the attic.

"This is my fourth time up here. I never understood this. Why does it have to be a mummy?" Says Percy.

Now that I think about it I've never been up here. I've never had a quest I've just went on other people quests.

"She wasn't always a mummy. For thousands of years the spirit of the oracle lived inside a beautiful maiden. It was passed down grin generation to generation. Chiron told me she was like that fifty years ago. But she was the last," says Annabeth.

"So now what?" I ask.

"Usually there's a green mist and things get even creepier. The whole out of body voice thing," says Percy looking around expectantly.

"O oracle, the time is at hand. I ask for the great prophecy," says Annabeth's reaching towards her. She yanks a knee lace like thing off her neck, "thank you."

"The big mystery of our lives was hanging on her neck the whole time!" I say.

"Let's get to the war council," says Annabeth.
