Percy Jackson's Twin Sister

Filling in

I sit down at the poseidon table with Percy, Tyson, and Grover. Grover had been pretty off beat lately. The cloven elders had called him a liar and he only had a week to find pan or he'd get his searchers license revoked.

"Even Dionysus finally hit off his rear end. Zeus called him back to Olympus to help make sure all gods and minor gods are falling on the right side," says Grover.

"The war against Kronos and the titans is coming. I can feel it," says Grover.

My brother was obviously paying no attention to them what so ever because he was looking away at the crack nico had made last year.

"Percy?" Asks Grover.

"Hm?" He says uninterested.

"We're you listening to anything I just said?" Asks Grover.

"Yeah I guess I'm just tired," says Percy, "it's been a long day full of hellhounds and exploding cheerleaders."

"Well snap out of it. We have to meet with Annabeth's and Clarisse to discuss plans," says Grover.

"Not tonight. Tonight won't be good. Tomorrow okay?" Says Percy walking away.

Grover and Tyson exchange worried glances.

"Do you know what that was about?" Grover asks.

"Maybe. He's been off since like last Christmas. I have a slight idea. He talked about it with me before," I say worried, "but I don't think it's my place to talk about it."

Grover nods but has a disappointed look. Maybe he's hurt Percy didn't talk to him about it.

* the next morning*

I'm sitting on the couch messing with Tidal Wave while Percy was still asleep. I hear a knock at the door. My brother rolls over before sitting up in his bed.

I get up and walk to the door. I open it to Chiron with Grover and Annabeth.

"Where Percy?" He asks.

I feel like that always seems to be the question of my life.

"Sitting in his bed like a lazy bum," I say kind of loud making sure he could hear it.

"I'm coming," he says responding to me.

About a minute later he emerges next to me in the doorway.

"Chiron? What's going on?" He asks.

"I'll leave that for you to discuss with your friends," Chiron says.

I invite the two inside.

"Where's Tyson?" Asks Annabeth.

"He left early for weapon forging class. What's this about?" Percy asks.

I knew what this was about but I didn't think yesterday was the day to break the news to him.

"It's about the labyrinth," says Annabeth.

Grover lets out a groan. Annabeth  keeps going on the fine details that I also already knew. That's one of the nice things of being at camp year around. I'm always filled in.

"Come on, grab you stuff. We'll talk more in the woods," says Annabeth.

I forgot about war games today. I was partenered with Conner for these. Travis was with Beckendorf. I grab my armor and rush to the arena.
