As soon as Gaea flew into the sky the ground solidified. All of us were sitting waisted deep in dirt. Sadly the monster around us were digging themselves out more quickly. The charged at us, taking advantage of our disorganization.
Jason and Piper take off into the sky to deal with dirt face. The last five of us continue on the ground fighting the monster it's hoards.
My shoulder aches and pleads for me to stop. My fighting had become more stiff as I was trying not to overwork it. Maybe it was obvious how much pain I was really in.
"Phoebe, are you ok?" Travis asks slicing through empousa.
"It's just my shoulder. I'll be fine," I say taking a lunge at a cyclops.
We fight for a minute longer. A monster must have come up behind me because it pounces hitting my right shoulder. The wound from the rock bleed again. I let out a roar of pain from it hitting my shoulder.
The ground shakes slightly. Travis makes sure I was ok. I wasn't really but it wouldn't be smart to leave now. Our forces need all the help we can get.
Above us the sound of a explosion rings out. The entire sky turns gold. Something had happened up there. Jason and Piper Plummer down with no sign from Festus or Leo.
