I was sitting a few feet away from where they were burning Beckendorfs shroud with Travis. I hadn't had a lot of time to think about Percy dying.

"I don't want to lose him," I say to Travis. He nods knowing what I was talking about.

"I know it's hard but it's his decision. It won't be the same but I'll be here for you. You'll be ok," says Travis.

I snuggle my self closer to Travis.

"I know you will. I can't even begin to comprehend life without him," I say.

"I know. When I told you to think for yourself and not live in your brothers shadow this isn't what I meant," he says.

I let out a small laugh and lay my head on Travis's shoulder.

"It'll all be ok, I promise. No I swear on the river Styx," says Travis.

"But what if we're not Travis," I say.

"I don't know but we're going to be ok," he says.

I look over at Percy sitting alone with Annabeth. I see him get up as he walk towards the woods. Travis noticed what I was looking at.

"Go on," he says.

"Thank you," I say giving him a kiss before leaving.

I catch up to Percy.

"Hey," I say to him.

"Hey," he says.

I hear a noise behind me. I reach down for Tidal Wave. A hell hound comes bounding out but before I can attack I realize it's Mrs. O'Leary. She comes up and licks Percy's face.

"I was sorry to hear about Beckendorf," a familiar voice says, " I always liked him."

"Nico?" I ask him.

"I talked to his ghost in the underworld. He doesn't blame you two. He assumed you'd be beating yourself up about it," Nico says.

"It's not that easy," says Percy.

"That doesn't matter now. Typhon is headed this way. Most of the other titans are unleashed. This camp is no match for their army, you guys know that," Nico says, "this comes down to Percy and Luke. And there's only one way you can beat like, now that Kronos has taken him over. Two years ago my sister gave her life to protect you. I want you to honor that. Do whatever it takes to stay alive and defeat Kronos. Percy, you know what you have to choose," says Percy.

"All right. What do we do first?" Asks Percy.

"Wait, do I have to come?" I ask.

"It's probably best you don't," says Nico.

"Ok, I guess I'll see you all later. Please don't die," I say turning to leave.

"Bye, I love you," says Percy.

"I- I- I love you too," I say.

I head back to the beach where I left Travis sitting. He hadn't really moved. I see him looking up at the sky.

"I'm back," I say sitting down next to him.

"Where's Percy?" Travis asks.

"Him and Nico are going to do something that involves Luke-" I quickly realize I shouldn't have mentioned Luke yet, "I'm sorry."

"No it fine. I'll have to face the fact that Luke's gone at some point," he says.

"It's like you said, everything is going to be ok," I tell him.

He puts his hand in mind and I lay my head on his shoulder.
