Shrimpzilla

Percy and Jason were laying in the deck back to back tired from the storm they had created. Annabeth and Piper were trying to get them to drink some water.

"Come on guys. It can't hurt," I say squatting down in front of them.

They take tiny sips but not substantial drinks. I see Leo stand at the mast so we all kind of gather around.

"No sign of pursuit," Frank says.

Leo turns to Annabeth, "did you find the map you were looking for?"

She nods. Annabeth looked really pale but I hadn't asked her why yet, "I'll have to study it. How far are we from those coordinates?"

"At top rowing speed, about an hour. Any idea what we're looking for?" Leo asks.

"No. Guys?" Annabeth asks looking from me to my brother.

Him and I had found the coordinates written on a price of paper the nereids had slipped is when we weren't looking. Why couldn't they just tell us.

"The nereids said Chiron's brothers were there, and she says they'd want to hear about the aquarium. I don't know what she meant but..." he trails off looking exhausted.

"Ok stop talking," I tell him, "she also warned us to be careful. Keto, the goddess at the aquarium, she's the mother of monsters. She might be stuck in Atlanta but she can still send her children after us. They said we should expect and attack."

"Wonderful," frank mumbles.

Jason tried to stand but failed, and Piper helped him slide back down at my brothers side, "can we get the ship aloft? If we could fly..."  Jason starts.

"That's be great except Festus tells me the port aerial stabilizer got pulverized when the ship ranked against the dock," Leo says.

"We we're in a hurry trying to save you," annabeth says.

"While saving me is a noble cause I'm just saying it'll take some time to fix. Until then we're not fly anywhere," Leo says.

"Fine with me. The sea is good," I say look at the horizon.

"Speak fir yourself," hazel says nauseously, "we need to work fast. We've only got there more days."

"We can do it. As long as nothing unexpected happens," Leo says.

That's reassuring. It's not like quests are full of unexpected things right?

Frank and Leo bicker for a moment before Percy and Jason bring their attention back.

Percy doubles over and groans, "did the world just turn upside down," he moans.

Jason puts his hands on his forehead, "yeah, and why is it spinning. And yellow? Is it suppose to be yellow."

"Wow the storm really took it out of you. Someone want to help me lug these two down stairs?" I ask. 

Piper, Annabeth, Frank, and I pick the boys up. Annabeth and I grab Percy while Piper and Frank take Jason. We haul them down the stairs.

"Wow Pheebs, your weirdly good at this," Annabeth says.

"Thank you. I've hauled him so many places either hurt or unconscious. Or he falls asleep on the couch and mom makes me drag him to his room," I say repositioning him on my shoulder.

"Yah, she's dragged me all over the place," Percy says with a smile.

"If you weren't feeling laggy from that storm I would have just hit you," I say.

We take them down the boat to their cabins.

"He just use my bed because I don't want to try and get him up top," I say.

We help Percy onto my bed and he instantly passes out on top of my sheets.

I feel a shake and a rattle under us. Something was defiantly attacking. Annabeth and I run up to the deck. Apparently Percy didn't stay asleep because he comes running up after us.

"Leo what's going- gods what is that?" I ask him.

I look over the edge to see a shrimp looking thing. It was pink and kind of looked like a shrimp except it had the face of a catfish.

The monster rambled the ship as Piper and Jason ran to the deck taking a tumble and almost rolling overboard.

Leo messed with the ships controls using the spears ti try and drive the monster away.

"How did it get so close?" Annabeth yells at Leo.

"I'm stupid. Stupid, stupid. I forgot the sonar," Leo says.

The ship tipped a little again.

"Sonar? Pans Piper Valdez. Maybe if you had t been so busy holding hazels hands and staring into her eyes-" coach starts.

"What?!" Franks yelps.

"It wasn't like that!" Hazel yells.

"Doesn't matter right now. Jason can you call some lightning?" Piper says.

"I- I," Jason says stumbling.

He was still to tired from the storm.

"Percy? Can you talk to that thing? Do you know what it is?" Annabeth yells at her boyfriend.

"Maybe it's just curious about the ship. Maybe-" my brother was cut off.

"He's to tired to do this right but I can't tell much, if anything right now!" I yell.

A moment later one if the  tendril comes in hitting Percy in the chest and sends him flying back. Another comes and wraps around pipers legs and drags her towards the tail.

Annabeth was about to run to Percy, "Annie fight. I hit him," I yell at her.

My powers weren't going to be much help at the moment. I rush to Percy. He was unconscious and had a big bump on his head. I run my hand over it trying to think what to do. I hear the battle raging above. I grab Percy and put his arm around my neck. I howl him up and toward the sick bay.

I cautiously lay him down on a bed. I force feed him some ambrosia as the bruise disappears slightly. I decide to stay down here with him since the ship was shaking so much he just about tipped off every few seconds.

We hit a big wave and I go staggering back. I hit my head on a post. It feel the blood start to trickle from behind me. I quickly take my own set of nectar and ambrosia. I try to wrap my head the best I could without being able to see. I walk back over to Percy even though I know the blood is still coming a little bit.

I start to feel light headed. I sit down on the floor. My eyelids droop a little. I remember falling onto the ground as I fall as unconscious as my brother.
