Jean kept his arms wrapped around you until the debris had settles. You pushed as you inhaled the dust slowly breaking free from Jean to observe everything.
"Are you okay?" He asked quickly as he stood up looking at the colossal. You grabbed his hand hoisting yourself up to your feet. Your breathe hitches as your eyes bounced from the armored titan and erens attack titan to the beast titan and then finally to bertholts.
"The commander! Erwin!" You screamed as you suddenly hit your trigger on your odm gear launching yourself off the wall and down to where the beast stood. 'Oh god, please be okay!" You mumbled to yourself as you landed on the ground. There was no chance you were going to freeze up again and lose Erwin. Absolutely not. Your hands clutched your swords pulling them out. "Alright fucker. You wanna play? Let's play." You yelled at the beast titan as he turned around, his monster eyes staring at you like a speck of dust. A grin fell onto his face as he started to stomp to your place on the ground. He started to reach down to grab you with his right hand and just before his fingers closed in on you, you left out a growl as you started to aggressively slash your swords directly through his fingers severing them from the beast.
The beast yelled out in pain retreating his hand quickly. He stumbled back a few feet shooting you a look of death.
"You bitch!" The beast yelled at you. "Fortunately I don't see your lover anywhere." He cooed as his eyes scanned the rubble from his transformation. "He won't be here to save you now." The beast smirked again and it enraged you. You shot your gear up towards him, swinging around him in the air heading towards his nape. You knew damn well it wasn't going to be that easy to take him down. But you had to distract him from whatever sick plan he and the boys had planned. You swung your blades ready to attempt to slice it but the sun had suddenly disappeared causing you to look up and see his arm swinging at you. You dodged just seconds before he swung shooting your gear to the lower part of his body.
"You wanna tussle, let's tussle you sick bastard" you growled to yourself as you approached the ground near his tendon of his ankles. You swung slicing both of them swiftly. Restricting his movements. He grunted as his knees his the ground hard causing the floor beneath you both to rumble. You landed a good distance away from his to catch your breathe. Steam started to escape the nape as zeke pulled himself out with pure rage. You quickly shot your gear towards the slumped titan in attempts to finish off the holder of the titan once and for all. You were inches from him ready to slice him up but got shoved with the force of a thousand suns as a larger mouth titan came running with its mouth open grabbing zeke in its mouth and taking off. It knocked you out of stability causing you to stumble back towards the ground. You clicked your trigger to try and grapple somewhere quickly but your trigger jammed and malfunctioned.
"Fuck fuck fuck" you spoke frantically as you continued to press it in your best attempts to get it to unjam. The ground grew closer and closer until you where feet away from your impact, someone had grabbed you by your waist and hoisted you up towards the wall. They had laid you softly on the wall and stood in their feet catching their breathe. Your eyes rose from the ground to look up at who had saved you. Your eyes widened and you scrambled quickly to your feet throwing yourself into their arms. Erwin. It was fucking Erwin. You wrapped your arms around his neck shoving your head into his neck in relief he was okay. "Oh my fuck, Erwin. You're okay..." you spoke choking on your words trying not to cry. You pulled back to examine him. His blonde hair was covered in dust and some debris, he had blood running down the left side of his face. Though thankfully all his limbs were spared. He brought his hands up to your cheeks holding them as his eyes scanned your face. His thumbs started to caress your cheeks as he silently comforted you.
"I'm so sorry..." he spoke softly and you instantly knew what he was talking about. "I'll fucking kill him." He snarled lightly as he pulled you back into a hug. You instantly fell back into his arms wrapping your own around his back gently in case he was in pain anywhere on his body from the beasts transformation. Levi and a few of the scouts came flying in at the two of you.
"Commander! Are you alright?" One of the scouts asked and Levi instantly pulled Erwin from your grip examining the man himself.
"You're a fucking idiot." Levi scoffed as his grey eyes did another once over on Erwin.
"Nonsense I'm fine." Erwin responded. "Send a few of the troops to scout for the armed titan.'
"Not necessary sir! Look!" Armin fly in responding to Erwin. All your eyes averted to lighting strike on the opposing side of the inner wall. The beast had transformed again and roughly 20-30 titans appeared alongside him. You gasped. And then your furrowed your brows angrily. You felt a hand land on your shoulder and your face relaxed as you instantly knew it was Erwin. He turned you around to face him.
"Y/n I want you to accompany Armin to assist Eren with the armored. It's not looking to well and they need your help. Can you do that for me?" He asked you as his eyes fell soft. Something wasn't right. You nodded quickly grasping your swords. You went to turn towards Armin but Erwin halted you with a grip on your wrist. "I love you, you know that right?" He suddenly asked catching you off guard.
'Yes of course I know that." You spoke as you lowered a brow trying to catch on what he was going for but you couldn't shake it. "I love you too' you finally spoke. He exhaled shakily as it looked like he held back from breaking down. He pulled you in for a quick kiss before he reluctantly pulled away
"Okay.." he smiled. "Now go before Eren loses the fight." He ordered and with that, you and Armin were off, soaring through the sky's towards the wrestling titans. The beast had chucked a large boulder at the opening of the inner wall causing the boulder to crumble in the hole. Ensuring the scouts had no way out, especially on horseback. You sent one look back the beast before you and armin had reached eren.

<back with Erwin and Levi>
"Erwin what the fuck are you planning?" Levi caught on. Erwin huffed and turned towards Levi.
"Gather up the scouts, all the troops excluding those who are in combat with the titan shifters..." Erwin started to speak.
"What are you doing?" Levi asked again.
'I always thought death would be easier. But then y/n came and fucked it all up. I'm so close to it...." He choked up taking a deep breathe. "But We can't let our fallen comrades deaths mean nothing." there was a good few minutes of silence between the two before Levi broke it.
"I'll make the decision for you. Give up on your dreams and charge to your death. Lead those crying children straight to hell. I'll reach the beast titan and tear him apart." Levi spoke in a manner that caused Erwin to creep up a smile.
"Y/n..." Erwin exhaled softly. "This is the only way I can ensure her safety." Erwin lied to himself.
"I will gather the troops sir." Levi spoke softly as he stood up from his kneeling position and flew to find any remains scouts that were left. Once Levi left, Erwin threw his face into his hands to let himself break down before he had to charge to his death. He couldn't tell you his plan, you'd never let him go through with it.
Within 15 minutes, Levi had gathered the remaining few hundred scouts. Erwin and pledged his whole hearted speech about charging towards the titan. After a short while of convincing, Erwin had managed to get every single of them to give themselves meaningful deaths. They quickly gathered on horseback falling into formation as they approached.
"Charge!" Erwin yelled as they all picked up in a gallop rapidly approaching their deaths. This was it. This was the last thing Erwin could do to serve as a commander. One last time. Account for the lives that were lost because of these enemies. Trying his best to protect y/n once and for all. One last time.
