"Take another step and I'll rip your fucking head off." Levi growled clutching you tighter to his chest as he took a step back.
"Captain Levi please-" Reiner started but Levi scoffed quickly cutting him off
"I am not your fucking Captain." He spat as his functioning eye watched Reiner slowly take steps towards the two of you. "You're pushing it, Bruan." He finished with a warning. Reiner hesitated with the last few step before stopping in his tracks.
"let me help." Reiner pleaded as his eyes darted to you who's eyes were already returning the stare. You wanted to speak, to involve yourself into the conversation but your body was in such physical pain from Erwin's transformation but you disregarded your attempts to reduce the situation. "Dammit sir! She is hurt because of me! She tried to save me."
"No you idiot, this wasn't your fault this time at least l." Levi spoke lowering his head to look at you. "You've given me nothing to trust you."
"Please just let me fucking help you, the longer you resist, the longer she'll sit there in pain." Reiner persisted taking another step closer nearly grabbing you out of Levi's arms which he surprisingly didn't resist. "I got her from here. Let me keep her safe, I can promise you that's something I'll do." Reiner finished boldly holding you tight.
"I'll tear off every limb on your body religiously if you do anything to hurt her." Levi warned, his voice low. All Reiner do was nod in response as he turned away walking down the crumbled street.
"You're an idiot, y/n" Reiner whispered softly.
"And so are you.." you pushed out forcefully. He instantly looked down at you and smiled weakly.
"You could've died." He retorted quickly.
"You could've too." You shot back. Reiner brought his eyes back onto the street and said nothing.
"Reiner what are you doing?" A voice clashed at the both of you. You felt Reiner's body tense. "Fooling around with the Eldian girl at a time like this?" Your breathe hitched. You knew that voice. Zeke, the horrible marleyan, the beast himself. Reiner felt your body crumble at zeke's voice and clutched you tighter. "You're disregarding your position as a warrior. Wasting the armored's use against that devil out there!" Zeke spat before his eyes dropped to you. "Though I see why you're doing what you're doing" he continued with a small smirk rounding his face when he noticed your eyes were glued to him. "Take it from me, she's a great stress relief."
Reiner gritted his teeth at those words wanting nothing more than to punch Zeke but kept his composure. Zeke started to approach the two of you and your body went numb filling with rage. The memories of Zeke's grimy hands on you made your sick.
"Don't fucking take another step asshole!" You barked wiggling painfully out of Reiner's grip to stand on your own feet. Reiner kept you against him as he noticed your pain dancing through your body.
"Zeke don't." Reiner warned when he took a few steps closer.
"What?" He quickly laughed "don't tell me you pity for this devil?" Zeke continued. "God. Sending you to that island really fucked you up didn't it?"
A sudden intense rumble shook the ground beneath all of you. Your head shot back to see Erwin pulling apart the jaw titan's jaw and tossing him a far distance almost nearing you.
"Porco!" Zeke cried out eyes widened as the dust cleared to see porco's titan steaming rapidly. Their eyes searched the nape area for any human submerging but found a massive chunk missing. As if Erwin had taken a bite. Eating him. His eyes snapped towards Reiner.
"Give me the girl." He ordered angrily.
"No" Reiner spat "you aren't touching her."
"Reiner do not go against my orders. Give. Me. The. Girl." Zeke spoke grabbing your arm quickly yanking you towards him.
"Don't touch me!" You yelled trying to wiggle out of his grip.
"Zeke let go over her!" Reiner growled furrowing his brows in a fit of rage.
"You're brainwashed! Feeling anything for this is just a mer illusion for peace, Reiner. You do not feel for this!" Zeke spoke loudly to Reiner who froze in his place watching Zeke drag you away. You whipped your head back to look at a stationary Reiner as you began to get farther and farther away. Why wasn't he doing anything? Where was Zeke taking you?!
"Let go of me!" You screeched feeing his grip tighten on your arm. Your eyes flashed to the nearing colossal titan, Erwin. Erwin was destroying any building that surrounded him, completely ignoring the screams from the civilians. Your heart dropped. Erwin wasn't like this. He wasn't entirely heartless.
"ERWIN!!" You screamed out right before Zeke's hand went flying to cover your mouth. Quickly the colossal stopped his disaster striking and tried to find the source of your voice. Even in chaos and destruction, he can hear your voice, your cry for help.
"Your stupid bitch!" Zeke hissed pulling you close to him. Erwin's face throw the colossal's looked like rage pouring through him. He turned to take a step but zeke instantly screamed. "Don't fucking do it or she's dead!" He called to him. Erwin froze in place and steam quickly emerged from his nape. And within seconds he was down on the crumbled streets nearing Zeke with caution.
"I will not tell you again!" Zeke warned taking a step back yanking you with him. You yelped as his tug was agressive against your pained body.
"I'm gonna rip you apart when I get my hands on you." Erwin spoke with pure vengeance and rage. Your heart dropped before your pleading eyes fell on Erwin who was already returning your stare. He kept his face emotionless but his eyes told you everything you needed to hear.
"Oh please" Zeke scoffed. "I'd absolutely love to see you try!" He challenged and Erwin's fists clean chit the minute Zeke's hand removed from your mouth and down your side. Your froze in disgust from his touch. "He's not gonna save you.."
While Zeke has his attention on you, Erwin took the opportunity to plunge at the two of you with his hand grasping Zeke's neck flinging him back releasing his grip on you. They flew back and Zeke's back hit the ground hard with Erwin's knee into his abdomen. Your ass hit the ground with a hard thud and you held your breathe to contain yourself. Your eyes darted up to see Erwin still containing Zeke who was now fighting back. If one of them turns right now, the other is doomed.
"Y/n get back!" A familiar voice called, none other than Levi. He had grabbed your arm from the ground and pulled you back quickly. Your eyes saw light behind you and you snapped your head to see both Zeke and Erwin with lighting around both of them. Shit was about to go down
