i was so close to dnf-ed this book, again, i wasn't used to third person point of view and thought the writer haven't either. i found some i's and got confused at who she's trying to refer to. there's also too much repetition of some words and phrases that i thought isn't necessary e.g. he was no ordinary man, i mean i get it okay, he's the ceo! woahh! and the long chapters weren't helping either - so if you're trying to get out of a reading slump, this book is definitely not for you. the first half was pretty boring i would say - they kept on debating on the smallest thing, but yeah, it got better, this book does not focuses on smut for sure, the fun only begins when you passes the half mark point. and after that point, i got used to the writing along with the character, but does it paid off? pretty much. and also, i wasn't a big fan of their humour, i think it's because i didn't listen to music that much? overall, a very mediocre book.
