the first book left me on a not so cliff hanger. i expected the sequel to start from there and unfortunately it didn't. but i can definitely see the author's writing skill improved here, and i couldn't be more happy. by the way she tried to get out of her comfort zone by writing those smut scenes just tell it all. i mean, it's not the best and there's not much, but i honestly am so delighted with them! i just wished that the first half wasn't dragged as much as the second half was action packed with everything that was going on and i just couldn't put it down. i would not say i like cara nor salv, but i didn't get annoyed as much which is always something good! i'm so happy i give this a chance even though it's not perfect!
