when it comes to mafia-related book, i wished it to have more of this scene, where you torture shits who really deserved it. but ava, i mean i loved how she can take james' cock so good, it's just that i wished she's more powerful in some way, i mean i get it though, i can't put a high expectation as her parents love her so much basically, she's just in a very healthy relationship with jer parents therefore she's not used to this harsh world, it's just you know.. the smuts are mind blowingly good, it's just i don't know is it wrong if i'm feeling it's a bit too much? i waited for torturing/killing scenes everytime a chapter ends! even though when it really happens, it is not as detailed as the smut, but it's just good to have more things other than sex. also, if i'm ava or her parents, i will find it suspicious as james is her dad's business partner, but was able to afford an enormous mansion, i mean, he's still younger than her dad, and not to mention the fact that her dad stayed so late just for work, having to fly from a country to another, and here is james just fucking her? it doesn't make sense tbh, sorry. and i mean i do get it that ava and james are the main characters, so we focuses mostly on them. but, this there's still so much mysteries that we haven't discovered yet, at least for me. i'm not sure if it'll be discussed in the sequel(s) but it intrigued me so much as of why did alesso fucked jeniffer? and tbh, i wanted to see more of alesso's scenes where he got jealous lol. anyway, i don't think i'll be reading the sequel(s), i would say it's a very mediocre book.
