why don't i have many things to say when it comes to reviews i'll publish that i consider good, yet when the book that i'm rambling on was just to be kept as a draft i'll have a little less than 1000 words? there are a few reasons as to why, one, i'm scared of people coming to me insulting me for having a different opinion, or, two, i'm just a very critical reader that i prefer to talk about the bad things rather than the good ones.

regardless, i've not been reading as much as i'd like as school started when i picked this book up. anyway, let's start with the real review HAHA. when it comes to pictures, i have a hate-love relationship with it. it depends on what was being displayed. i prefer to imagine my characters myself, but when it comes to outfits and rooms, i definitely appreciate it so much! fortunately, this book gave exactly that! the pictures were superb, which helped me visualise the scenes so much clearer!

i love the writing style! considering it's a free wattpad story, i didn't expect much from any book i picked up, but with this book, it was very easy to read and follow, and the fact that it had this audio where i can listen to while reading was just spectacular! although, some words chosen to describe things are very... unique, i guess? i mean i never found it anywhere else. the author would use the phrase such as 'pregnant pause' and 'kissing my teeth' which when i first read, i was like, huh? is that even a thing or the author just made it up?

talk about characters, these two was not my favorite, but definitely they were not my least favorite as well. they were just your typical black woman, hot guy kind of people which i don't mind at all. it's just that it wouldn't have me thinking about them in my sleep, let alone in weeks.

lastly, with all respect, i would like to complain about the massive amount of robbery in this book. first it started with the smuts, then the time jumps, and lastly the actions. i don't mind with the time jumps, but the smuts and the actions? i'm here for it! i wanna see every single detail that you can put out!
