★★★
finished: june 6, 2022i've read tons of nanny/age-gaps before this one and i don't remember any of them being so repetitive on their 'status' and age. the first half of this was being a little too repetitive for my liking on these subjects. just after reaching the second half of it do i can really see what their life was like outside of that (and declan of course). the other thing is that i found the 'problem' being rushed? and did i tell you that this really feels like a world in a fairytale? yeah, so basically, everything seems so surreal and quick in a snap of a finger right after they 'did' it. i wouldn't lie when i say i did enjoy this book and found it entertaining. but, still, it's a mediocre read for me.
