some of you may know that i've read one of this author's books and literally gave it a one star. i didn't like that, at all! the review for that one had been taken down for one reason and another after me considering it.

i'm just so happy to see her improve so much from that book! i still wouldn't say this was my fave, but it was okay. the writing was very easy to read with a countable number of writing errors, well it's actually more of a typing errors, which is even better!

i've never been interested in teenage romance as i could never have invested in the story which has a very light plot, and everything. i don't know if my perspective had changed, or this book was just different, but i actually do not mind this one and still find it very enjoyable.

the only big complaint that i may have was that i don't understand how this high school system works. how does a 19 or 20 (i couldn't really remember) teach in this school? and i mean, i don't mean it in a rude way, but, he's not even that good, like he's not even the most talented artist you could ever find, as far as i could recap from what i've read. is it because he's just the principal's son and basically can do whatever he desires?

which also brings me to my next point being that it's very unfair to the other students if i come to think about it. although, yeah, he didn't teach her and can't affect her score whatsoever, but, they dated publicly, and yet no one would make that a big problem? because if i were them, i sure will.

so i'm very confused whether this is a pure teenage romance (because they were teenagers) or a teacher and student romance? i would say it's more of a teacher and student, because he's not studying anymore, right?

to wrap it all up, this book wasn't a bad one. i'm not sure if it was because my expectations were very low or it's just a fairly decent one, but i can tell that this one is still readable in comparison to her other book that i've read. it's just that, the topics and everything were pretty mediocre? and i couldn't see myself thinking about it in the future because it does not leave any long lasting impression to me.
