WHAT THE HECK? THE ENDING WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE!! i'm crying and broken inside yet i can't cry, was that last chapter even necessary? i didn't expect anything from this book as i found out that a lot of people dnf'd it. first off, why does the storyline not match the title? i was expecting the story to be mediocre surrounding the dancing world and dad's best friend. half of the book was about that which was unsurprising. but, when it reached the stalker conflict, YUP YUP YUP!! i eat that up as breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even snacks! i promise you if you're stuck, please please please keep going, it'll pay off. the twists at the end were immaculate!! although, i would say that i was waiting for any other threats to be thrown, but yeah, sure, i was entertained and enjoyed their time together. and character wise, OH MY FREAKING WORLD i'm in love with malcolm!! OHH how i miss the daddy material of a male character, words cannot describe how much i love this man!! he's the real definition of a true gentleman, and yes yes yes for sure she and sara deserve each other so much! when i finished this book, the first thing that came to mind was, what now? it feels like a part of my heart was brought by this book. i'm not good at writing, as you all can probably tell already by my lack of vocabs. BUT, the way this book was written was very easy to read and i just love it. if there is something that i'll change, the ending for sure. i love when books can make me feel this way, but the way it ended just felt wrong! it felt like the author was like, "you know what? i don't think all of those were enough to make a long lasting impression, so what about this?" and lastly, although i had never been interested in law, i do wish there were more scenes where we can see malcolm working, the bossy and strict side of him. the first half was a bit bland to me which kind of took the enjoyment of it.
