i can't tell you enough how happy i am to be back to my wattpad era!! yayy!! and the fact that i write down notes for my thoughts? lately, i feel like i've just been rambling nonsense, well, to be fair, i still kind of do, but at least i do not forget anything that i wanted to mention!!

so this book, is very enjoyable and entertaining, but again, it's just very safe. what i mean is it's nothing different from any other office romance that you could get out there. it's not a bad thing, but i was just hoping to have at least a little bit of that.

okay, so i get it, xavier is a ceo and what not. they got caught by the media the first time they hugged each other, and right after, the media just poofed and disappeared like they never existed. they didn't even give any statement. okay maybe that's a little bit to specific for some, but i just find it a little bit off.

i feel like the main reason why i ended up giving this a three star is because i didn't feel any strong connection towards these characters. even though they're all very tolerable, they're not the worst characters at all, they're basically just not my fave.

the first reason being, i honestly would not expect them to fall so fast for each other? like literally they met in the interview, was pretty much stunned by how amazing each other looked, and started catching feelings from there. i just thought we'd get a little more build up into their chemistry.

speaking of characters, let's first start with val, yeah? istg, she's acting so bipolar, to the point where it's annoying. she would act as if she does not want to be around him, while deep down she just wants him to kiss her already.

and the fact that she never wants to communicate about anything. and you know what annoys me more? when she finally talked it through telling xavier what really happened, he solved it in less than half an hour. girl? we went through all of that just to come to that?

xavier even found everything out by himself about what happened. i got it, okay? she doesn't want to speak about it just yet. but she would say that oh she loved xavier so much, but she wouldn't even tell him about her past? girl, he really deserves to know.

xavier himself is not less weird than her tbh. he is a walking red flag, he would bring girls as his date, let them touch him in front of valentina, claiming that you're the only one i want, like dude? he's not even explaining who these girls are to her, well they are indeed his childhood friends. but he would pick them as his date and not val? and he would be pissed when val goes with a guy, claiming that she's his. and i remember him saying, i'm not one to hangout with girls. oh yeah? shove it up your ass, dude!!

how in the freaking world does xavier just act as if nothing happened when they're still very much in the middle of the third act conflict? babe? babygirl? BRUH, she did that, and you act as if it's nothing just because she really did not want to talk about it?

but to be fair, they really are meant to be, aren't they? he treats her like the princess she is. i want my man to treat me like this!! if he doesn't take it back, i don't want it, thank you.

and the ending, what's the rush, babe? why the fuck does it end that way? i want to see him be the simp he is, tell her how he freaking feels about her, every single detail at that, and i want to see all the tears she's pouring at how happy she is, NOT THAT!!

but anyway, it is what it is, it's a very fun journey and experience to be fair. and the length of the chapter and the book is very much perfect!! not too long and not too short, which i love!! listen up authors, do this instead!!
