i don't think you guys understand how excited i got when i picked this one up. i've been dying to read a polyamorous relationship for quite a while now, and considering the last one that i've read wasn't very pleasing, that didn't really count for me lol.

anyway, this isn't the first book that i've read by this author and although i really do not remember much about it (including the rating), i remember really enjoying that one too. so that got me even more exciting.

anyway, this book is about elle who was supposed to be this broke girl so what i pictured at first was that she would be kind of shy and find everything new and weird. but she really doesn't. it feels so normal to her having two guys at a time which is not at all what i was expecting.

unfortunately, i didn't quite like that character about her. so we know that tobias is super closed off, so he was still trying to refuse this relationship going on. and the way she just throws herself like that? i wouldn't believe she could take care of her two sisters.

and speaking of the two sisters, i don't really like kids involved in books, but these two, thankfully, i didn't really mind mainly because they are not really involved in the first place. and plus, they're not at all the annoying kind.

the author did actually mention at the beginning of the book that this will involve a bunch of smuts and is more of that driven rather than plot. but honestly, i really enjoyed every single scene! lately, i don't know why smuts have just been pretty boring to me and became something that pulled me out of the story, kind of. but i don't know if it's the threesome, the writing style or what but i was eating those up!

if you know me, then you probably would already know that when it comes to these type of books, i would always have to choose a favorite for some reason. and any guesses? well, i'm very much a tobias stan! i know, i know, he's more of the toxic one, but a closed off men would always have my heart, alright?

but that doesn't mean i do not like kieran, i LOVE him, he's very nice and cute, he fucks good. but, a rough fuck? give it to me. a dominant man? yes sir! i'd do anything tobias would ask me lol. those are probably the things that makes me prefer tobias just slightly.

i would really love to give this a 4 star, but it just doesn't feel that way you know. i feel like even though there's always this going on which are also what kept me reading non stop, i felt like something was missing.
