i don't know what's going on. when i finished fatal alliances, i was hoping to get a short teacher & student romance since it's been a while since the last time i read one. and here we are lol.

honestly, i don't have many things to say. i enjoyed this book so much, not going to lie. i can't put it down, i legitimately dropped everything down to read this, except school of course.

but that doesn't mean that i love this book. i'm not even attached to both characters by any means, they're definitely not bad, they're tolerable, but definitely not my favorite.

the plot is also very easy and quick, i was very surprised on their first encounter actually. they do be acting bold, and it's very unrealistic. but, to be honest, who wants a real teacher & student romance in real life? definitely not me.

i find this book very entertaining with the tension since he's her teacher and stuff. but honestly, it's not amazing or anything. the things that happened, including the smut, even, is very much telling and not showing. which i do kind of like to a certain extent, because i do not like when we would spend 5 minutes just reading a description of how well dressed they are, how gorgeous they are, and stuff. but, when it comes to the smuts, it's definitely too short and super abrupt as well.

and this book is combining the dirtiest of all combinations, shall they? definitely, it's teacher & student, 16 years different at that, and the fact that he's married? umm... i do not like that part honestly. okay, well, she cheated first, then hear me out, he's no better if he's going to be doing the same before the divorce. cheating is still cheating in my eyes, and i accept no reasoning at that.
