random number: -i made up my mind to not continue with the series as i found out that it follows the daughter of the two main characters in this book and honestly, i have no interest in continuing.
starting this book, i hated these two so much. i was even thinking about giving this book a two star at one point because they were so toxic and wrong for each other.
it didn't require amalia a lot of convincing for me to get back to him for what he did three years ago and how he still acted. he said he went to therapy, but i can't see that in the beginning, and not until she was raped.
however, i love how action packed this book is in comparison to the first book. i would say the first few parts of the book were pretty slow though, but once i broke through that wall, i really started to enjoy the book.
but i feel like, still, it's not an amazing book or anything. there's so much more the author can do. although i didn't expect much from this book, but i'm pretty amazed by how much i'm enjoying it.
