Talk about being cornered. This time round of all the people who had to call and complain was my dad who was asking why I had not gone to visit my uncle Lee Jaeyong. Ok, it is not that I didn’t want to visit the place but I am always afraid of going there being that all the people are elders apart from Lee Won-ju who is in America or something, I am never sure what she is doing. She is the only one I kind of get along with. My other aunts are always nagging about one thing or another.
But I heard that grandpa Lee was not feeling well so it must be that Won is back in the country that is why Uncle Jae requested for me to go.

Yesterday’s performance was not that bad, at least we redeemed ourselves. The winning teams were taking to visit the SM group company. We were also told that no one was to leave the venue without the authority from our schools or companies being that the pandemic is becoming very severe in different parts of the country. My dad told me that someone was to pick me up to take me to visit my uncle so I had to tell Taemin to ask for permission on my behalf being that I am not under any agency.
“Are you sure you are going to hung out with that cousin of yours?” that was the first words that came out of Tae’s mouth when I told him what my dad had ordered me to do.

“What else can I do? You just know that father of mine. Sometimes I wonder if he is really a Korean man or an African, the way he exacts his authority, even more ferocious than my mother who is the Korean.” I said.

“Hey, choose your words well, I am that Korean man you are about to abuse...”

“Ok bro, anyway, will you do me that favor of requesting for me to leave the compound tomorrow?”

“It’s ok, but remember, don’t just stay there if you feel offended, you can always walk away.”

“I will do exactly that.” And then I hanged up.

Today I got a call from Wonju that she was waiting for me in front of the building. The worst part was at this time, the winners were about to leave the venue so, so many people were out and with the chaebolness in my uncle, I knew that our ride was a very extravagant one.

“Hey mom, where are you going all dressed up like that?” Cai said when he saw me leaving the gates. He was together with the other guys.

“Yes beastie, you are so dolled up today, what is the occasion?” Chael asked while walking towards where I was.

“I have a lunch date with my uncle and my ride is upfront.” I said as I hurried so as not to make it obvious that I was running away.

“Let us walk you to your…” Eujin tried saying before I shouted NO so loud that people around looked at us weirdly. I then looked at Cai for some support which he never noticed because all over sudden, Tem came to us, saying that there was a limousine out at the car park.
This made the guys leave me and rush to check out the car.
“Now how am I supposed to continue to hide when Uncle Jae decided to bring a whole Limo to pick me up like seriously...” this was the monologue I was having by myself.
“Don’t worry, it will all come to pass… but not soon being that you are a Korean Chaebol, just accept and move with the flow” Cai said as he held my hand and helped me push my way between the crowd who were now trying to see who was the celebrity that was in the car. I guess my monologue was that loud.

*******

When we reached the car, the driver came and opened the door for me and I entered quickly then he closed the door for me. Now, the horrid feeling that I had come face to face to my face. Well, Wonju decided to come with her friends or were they her cousins from her mother’s side. Now, I have never had any problem with Wonju being that we grew knowing that we are related and we came in terms with it but what about these idiots who thought that just because they are related to Wonju, they are better than anyone. One of them was my schoolmate so I think she knew me very well...
