"What has woken you up this early in morning and the best place you saw best fit to come and make noise is the kitchen ha! You are truly your mother's daughter." The head maid came to the kitchen and asked. I had promised to prepare Aunty Boojin breakfast and that was what I was planning to do though she was not around. I knew that she will be coming at any time, and I did not want to be gotten unawares, who doesn't know that when I work, I love listening to music. Today was Ne-Yo's time to keep me company and boy, was I screaming in the name of singing.

"I promised aunty Boojin African breakfast, that is why I am here early so that when she comes back, everything will be set. Also, it is not that early. I always wake up at 5:00am every day and today is no exceptional day." I said and continued rolling my mandazi dough.

"Your cousins never wake up this early but anyway, do you need anything?'' she asked.

"No. this is so elementary; I can manage to do it. The kitchen is well organized making it easier to maneuver around. I will make enough mandazis for everyone, but I will save some for aunty Boojin." I said.

"She has already come back. You said that you woke up at 5:00am, I guess you missed her just by like thirty minutes. She said that she was going to try and get a shut eye before coming down for breakfast." She told me.

"Ah! That was fast. Then that is a relief. Well then, let me continue with this before they all wake up. I can switch off the music if it is making you irritated" I was about to switch it off, but she said she was ok. She asked the type of tea that I was planning to make so that we can save time. She wanted to start the cooking before the other servants were up at 5:30am.

The phone rang when I was just putting into the oil the last bunch of mandazi dough, so I had to request the head maid to take over from me and then I walked out while removing the apron. It was a call from Seung woo.

"So, people are coming for your birthday, and they are torn apart about what to but you. You know I hate arguing so I need to ask you siz, you are the richest among us, what do you want us to buy you?" He started the conversation like that.

"I am very fine thank you Seung woo, what about you. How is Hanse doing? Please, when you come for the birthday party, bring him with you thank you." I said.

"Damn, did you just ignore everything I told you right now?"

"It more of reminding you about your misplaced manners bro. How can you just start talking without even knowing how someone is?"

"True that. Anyway, I am tired of these guys arguing about your gift, so what do you want from us?"

"I thought a gift is supposed to be a surprise or something?"

"You are not one for surprises, so spill it, what do you want. Remember we are coming to your home, we need to be presentable in suits and all, and you know how some of us dread wearing suits. Our gift should not be shabby."

"Hey, I am being called in for breakfast. Anything will do, just don't put so much into it. Just join forces and come up with a present together. Also, but this one is a task for Woozi and Daniel Kang, bring Zico to the party, he will be the MC. It will be dramatic I tell you."

"I know, especially if that cousin of yours that we hate so much is around. Thanks for the idea. I know they will come up with something. Don't worry, I will use your suggestions as my own well thought out plans."

"You are welcome Seung. Good day then" and with that, I hanged up and joined the family for breakfast.
