."Welcome Lensah, long time. I did not know that aunty has to force you to visit her and yet you have been in South Korea for all this while." Yeon Jun's mother's greetings echoed across the hall as we were ushered in by the butler.

"Sorry mummy, I have been busy..." I said as I hug her.

"Which busy, you think Yeon Jun doesn't post photos of places that you go to party, excluding us from the fun." Yeon Jun's annoying cousin Steven said as he came to where we were.

"Mummy, why is this big baby doing in South Korea?" I asked as I went to hug him also. Steven is Yeon Jun's annoying cousin from San Jose, California. He was the one who helped Yeon Jun with his English while he was in America for two years. He speaks too much and being that we also met in America, whenever we meet, we argue so much.

"You came from Africa, so why shouldn't I also come to my favorite cousin's birthday. Unlike you, I always come every year, right Danny?" Steven said as he hugged Yeon Jun.

"You two should get married already. Whenever you meet, you always argue like an old couple." Yeon Jun's dad said as he came from the kitchen.

"If all the men in the world disappear and he is the only one remaining, then uncle, I will dedicate my life to God and admit myself in a convent and become a religious nun." I said making all of them to laugh.

"Yes uncle, I pity anyone who will marry this jinx. I rather change my religion and become a Buddhist monk rather than marry her. Look at her, weird as usual. Danny, I really wonder what is good about this village girl from Kenya that you love her so much." Steven said looking at Yeon Jun.

"She is my second mum, and you know that the Quran says that mothers are the second God, so she is the second Regina in my life after my mother dear." Yeon Jun said and then kissed my cheeks, making me blush.

"Yack, which queen and when did you start reading the Holy Quran. The last time I checked, this family is Catholic... Back to Lensah, she is a monster, but I don't blame your faulty eyes. Anyway, how are you?" Steven said pulling Yeon Jun aways to the kitchen.

"Lensah dear. It has been so long. Look how beautiful you have become. I hope all is well back home." Yeon Jun said as he held my hand and led me to the lounge area.

"It is all good uncle Choi. I am fine. Yesterday we were at my grandpa Lee's home, and everyone came out to celebrate my first ever birthday." I said as I sat down. Yeon Jun's mum had brought me some water. "Thank you, aunty.

"True. Danny told us that they were at the main house preparing the best birthday of your life. We are sorry that we could not make it, but your mum said that the family was well represented." He said.

"I feel bad that I could not be there to lend my shoulder when you found out about the hidden secrets. I hope that you have come to terms with it." Yeon Jun's mother said.

"I am okay aunty. It makes no difference. I have never lacked any love so I took it all in. the family support played a huge role." I said.

"Your mum said that you are strong, and I can see that." Yeon Jun's father said.

"Yeah, my girl. I am proud to see that you turned out this way. How is my granddaughter?" She asked.

"She is growing up so fast and taller very day. I talk to her once in a while. My sister Stacy s in charge of her. She is in a school in Kenya. Mum said that they are to take her to Switzerland. They claim that they have the best education there. I love this feeling of having someone that gives you the courage to fight every day." I said .

"I am happy. I hope you will bring her to visit her homeland one day." Mum said.

"Definitely. She is a K-pop fan, and she said that if I don't bring her here, she will save and fly herself out here. Her grandmother is a pilot, so she will definitely do that." I said making them laugh.
