By the time the song was over, we were even tired to go back to our rooms. The bar room had bed sofas so we all stationed ourselves and slept. I had to take the blankets from the nearby room and cover up my brothers. This brought back the wonderful memories of our childhood again when we could have sleep overs during school vacations. Our families were very close so it was normal for us to hang out together.

My mother' and Tae's father's family were family friends through their fathers. My grandfather used to work in the Kenyan embassy in South Korea. My mother used to come to Seoul for holidays so she was familiar with the Lee family. She Tae's parents were dating, they were in the same university that my father was in. My father was in the same department as Tae's mother so he introduced him to Tae's father. One day ,when they were at home, my mother visited the Lee household and then Tae's mother introduced my father to my mother and the rest is history. They found out that they were both Kenyans so when my dad finished his studies and went back to Kenya, they hooked up and my siblings and I are the proof of their loving relationship so in short, it was Tae's mother who introduced my parents to each other so that's why the Lee family is very special to us.

Tae's elder brother is close to my elder sister Vincentia that's why I never talk about him but with Tae, well, we relocated to South Korea on the 18th of July 1993, the same day Tae was born so according to my South Korean birth certificate, that is when I became a Korean girl though I don't have a Korean name. This is the reason Tae became my twin brother. My real birthday is 17th September 1992. Tae has always behaved more mature among us four so much that sometimes I feel that he is older than I am. We lived in the same neighbourhood, celebrated all the holidays together, worse situations together much that we became an extended family. Tae and I always celebrate two birthdays, my actual birthday and his. That's how much we are close. We never went to the same school because I never wanted to burden him when I am bullied for being black.

As for Kai, his mother was friends with our parents so during celebrations,we could see him accompanying his parents. We became friends during one of the festives. I was really bored so I went to look for a quiet corner to sit. After sometime, Kai came carrying so much food. When he saw me,he wanted to go away but I told him to stay. We shared the food as we joked and laughed at each other's jokes. When Tae came to fetch me, he was shocked to see me with Kai thinking that maybe he was bullying me but after explaining, he took my hands and pulled me back to our parents. Yes, at first meeting, Kai and Tae were not that friendly with one another, it took long like two or three occasions to make then unseperatable friends they are to date. This also helped a lot because when I went to China for the debate competition, Tae had Kai and Jimin to hung out with.

We were suppose to form our band. I was to play the drums, yes I am good at playing the drum set, Tae would play the piano while Kai plays the guitar. We were all good singers and dancers so we could not need any extras. When Jimin joined our friendship, we forgot that dream of ours and started competing in singing and dancing. Kai could dance ballet which the rest of us could not. Jimin was more of contemporary dancer while Tae was more of contemporary and Latino dances. For me, I was more of Walts and African contemporary dances. With these variety of dances, we became good dancers because we challenged each other. As for singing, we had a Quartet that always entertained the family with our cover songs to different international and local musicians. I sang soprano, Jimin sang alto, yes alto, Tae sang tenor while Kai was our base. Jimin and I could always change our voices. He has always been able to sing high notes comfortably thus challenging Tae also. Kai is good at rapping. In short, we were a band before the three debuted.

Our parents and relatives have always been our first fans. Whenever we could have family activities, they could request us to perform. Kai and Tae always had the habit of dancing Micheal Jackson's songs being that they idolise him so much. Jimin and I could dance our own specialities. As for singing, we had our families favourite song that we sang as a Quartet for our grandparents. S.E.S song LOVE. This more for the dancing part while g.o.d's song road, grandfather Lee's favourite

I have never understood why grandfather Lee loves this song so much but one day I was a challenge given to EXO to dance a song from the past and watching Kai dance made me realise one thing, every little thing you are asked to do when you are young will always come in handy to help you in the future. I have a feeling that my singing while I was young will come in handy when I go for the music festival competition that is to start on Monday.

We had been given the weekend to prepare ourselves. According to the competition rules, we will be boarding at the site of the competition. We will be given a free day on the weekends. We are allowed to carry our electronics but their use will be limited. The rest of the rules will be read to us when we move in the dorms. I think this is why Tae insisted that we meet tomorrow. This meeting is to be attended by all my brothers. Jackson, Tuan and Bambam have already sent me a message that they will attend the get together. Cai Xukun was forced by Jimin to come. Felix has also confirmed his attendance. The young ones will not be called. At least not now. As  I remember telling the BTS family, we are a huge clan of K-pop stars that sometimes I wonder if we grew up knowing that one day,we will be famous. At least for them. I still have a long way to go, but I can say that I am about to start  the journey...

After making sure that all my brothers were well covered, I went on my sofa bed, said my night prayer and then slept. Tomorrow will be a very interesting day indeed.
