NINE

" So what are your plans for today?" Jimin asked me around 12:00pm. We had already finished my dance lesson with Jungkook, taken a shower and changed.
" I am planning to go to the house. I have to prepare for tomorrow. You do know that we are meeting."
" Kai told me something like that. By the way he is angry with you. Apparently he is the only one that has not met you so he will be staying over with you at the house tonight."
" Oh damn,I forgot to tell him. I know that if he has talked to Tae, then am in a very hot soup."
" Don't worry, I will come and stay the night with the both of you so he will not try anything. By the way, how was the mass today."
" It was interesting. I even met Lee Felix at last. You remember I told you that we share a spiritual counsellor, Fr. Oduor. Apparently he was posted over here so mama asked me to see him. That's where I met Felix. We have a project we will be working on."
" Lee Felix of Stray Kids. I remember. Should I be jealous that you will be meeting him more often than with me? And what about the competition?"
" Yes, Stray Kids. If you were not jealous I will be angry, but don't worry, you know you are my heart, noone can replace you in my heart. And in fact, he already knows how special you are to me so.." as I kiss him on the cheeks," relax, your name is tattooed on my heart mi miel."
" Ok then I trust you on that. So what's the project about?"
" Fr. Oduor is in charge of the missionary children movement in the archdiocese of Seoul and he want to introduce the Kenyan way of celebrating mass here in South Korea. So he asked Felix who is a very talented dancer to help out and me, well being that I am a Kenyan, I can help out. By the way, why don't you help out!"
" Me,seriously, you want to take me to church?"
" You say it as if you have never gone to church yourself. Have you forgotten that you learnt in a Catholic based institution. You understand the Catholic ways of life and you have the best voice ever. You are also a great dancer, hello! you graduated as the top student from your dance school so it will be like you are using your talent to help the society. Please."
" As tempting as it sound I don't know. You know that I am not that comfortable with the going to church part."
" It's not like am telling you to attend the mass, anyway its not a must. I guess Felix and I will manage."

With that I walked away feeling frustrated with the whole conversation. Don't get me wrong, I can never impose the ideology of God into my brothers and friends. I am even lucky to have one of them, Felix, going to the same church I go to. Jimin's attitude towards church changed because of me. I always feel angry at myself because of this. Me walking away from him was not be wise of anything major, it's be unwise if I stay there, I will start crying and I have the feeling that comes with it. All I needed to do now is to find the kitchen and cook. This is one way I always use to relieve my stress.

After lunch that was prepared by Jin and Suga, I packed my belongings and headed to my house based at the beach. The story about this house is that it is kind of a get away his out place where we decided to chip in and buy. We here include Taemin, Kai, Jimin and I. We wanted a dream house where we could hung out and hide from our parents.  I contributed the largest share of the money because the rest already have apartments all over the country. For me this house was very important since my parents are not around, I needed a place to call my own.

The house has ten ensuite bedrooms, a lounge, visitors room, entertainment room, mini theatre, kitchen with a patio, dinning area, basement room which has a fully functional bar/ disco, swimming pool, underground parking lot with five models of cars, a Ferrari, Audi A4, Jeep Cherokee, Mercedes-Benz SLS and a Prado. Taemin was incharge of the interior design of the house while Kai was in charge of purchasing the cars. Jimin did the furnishing part. We also have a kitchen garden, a orchard park, a basketball pitch, table tennis and also a lawn tennis court. One of thing that also bind the four of us is our love for basketball.

I was really looking forward to seeing the house because I had not seen it physically. As promised Jimin accompanied me to the house being that I was not that familiar with the place yet. All the way we never talked. I was still angry at him. The weather was very nice much that when we were approaching the beach area, I could just feel the air changing. Although I am used to the beach life, I was just feeling overwhelmed with the atmosphere of the place.

" Please Lensah, stop being angry at me.." Jimin said as we approached was I was assuming the compound of the house." I am not angry, just sad. I know that you hate church because of me but..."
" Who said that it is because of you sweetie?"
" If that's the case then am not sad or angry..."
" Well if you say so. Then I will join Felix and you with the project then. So it means that tomorrow we will be going to church together? "
" Wow. Are you telling me the truth!" As I hug him, " Thank you my heart. Let me call Felix and tell him the good news." With that I alighted from the taxi, leaving Jimin to pay the taxi fare as I went to talk on the phone with Felix.

By the time I was finishing my conversation with Felix, Jimin had already opened the house and taken our luggages inside the most beautiful house I have ever seen. It was a house removed straight from a fantasy story. The interior design ideas were just exquisite. The furniture were just gorgeous and marvelous.

" Lensah, welcome to our paradise. Let me give you a tour"
" Of my own house!"
" Yes of yourown house. Looking at this, I believe that my money from the deals has not gone wasted. Taemin out deed himself seriously wow."

The money that purchased this house was from movie and music deals that my brother's helped me sell to different production companies... Yes, I can also compose songs and write movies of different Asian languages especially Korean.

And with that, Jimin took my hands and dragged me upstairs.
