WALK THROUGH WALLS

TWENTY SEVEN.

" So Tem, you are from Thailand right?" Cai was the one who broke the silence. Everyone was busy with their breakfast
"Yes am from Thailand but I have lived here in South Korea for some years now." Tem answered back while peeling his boiled egg.
" Wow, so now we have an African, a Taiwanese, a Korean, a Chinese and a Thai, we are just missing I think three counties and then we will be complete." Cai said jokingly.
" Kwani what are you trying to create here little Cai? A United Nation forum or what?" I asked while snatching the already peeled egg from Tem then I took out the yolk and gave him back the white. I also did the same with my egg and handed him the white again. This little exchange never went unnoticed by the people on the table. I just smiled and devoured my yolks. Then I moved next to Them and whispered, " officially all your yolks belong to me P' "

He just smiled at me and continued eating his breakfast.
" Seriously mum, I thought you stopped bullying people over their yolks. " Cai said
" Why should I, we are friends anyway and he is not complaining so what is it to you?" I said while eating the yolk to make him stop talking.
" Yeah Cai, I don't mind. It is a willing buyer willing seller kind of deal so nobody is at a loss" Tem said while putting his bacon on my plate.
"I think your son is just jealous Lensah." Eugene said while putting his hands over Cai's shoulders.
" Who is jealous really. Am just concerned about Tem. Look, he is meeting us for the first time and my mum here is already bullying him. But if Tem is ok, I will not say anything. Aggie you are too quiet girl, what's up." Cai asked while looking at Aggie. If Cai had not mentioned her, I could have forgotten her existence
" It's nothing, don't mind me. Your mother already bullied me this morning." Aggie said while trying to cut her bacon.
" Seriously Aggie, you should blame that roommate of yours from hell." I said
" You have a roommate from hell here!" Tem asked.
" Yes, kinda. She is a pink monster." I answered.
" She means that she is obsessed with all things pink. Ok, what did she do this time round,forgot to wake you up or something?" Eugene asked
" I wish it was that. Set set her alarm to ring at 3:00am in the morning but she woke up at 5:00am instead. Lensah was the one who woke up, stopped the ringing alarm and then after finishing her morning ritual, she woke me up at 4:00am so now I am too sleepy to talk." Aggie said and then embarked on cutting her bacon.
" Hahahaha, you should show me this girl. She seems interesting." Tem said.
," Just look for a overly pinkish styled girl around. Oh the most important twist of he story is she is from North Korea." Eugene said while drinking his orange juice.
" Oh Eugene, you have started picking bad habits from my mum. I thought you don't gossip bro. What is happening.. are you joining the dak side of..." Cai said while looking at me.
" CAI XUKUN!" I shouted, " you know anything in my hand is a weapon and trust you me that I will break this glass on your head and then I administer the first aid on you myself. This made everyone on the table laugh at Cai who at this moment looking at me with his puppy eyes.
" Damn P' you are scary. " Tem said while pushing the glasses of juice away from me.
" Hahahaha, ok, that threat has woken me officially." Aggie said while drinking her juice.
" Anyways guys, did you see my performance yesterday? I danced on the same stage with Lee Taemin. It felt good." Eugene said while smiling
" By the way I was to ask about that. How did you pull that.... Do you know Taemin personally or?" Aggie asked
" We told him about you performing his song so..." Cai said and then looked at me as if asking for permission to tell them our little secret. I just shakes my head and then he stopped talking and continued with his breakfast.
" You guys know Taemin?" Eugene asked. At this moment the three were looking at us wierdly.
" We kinda do so I hope you enjoyed yourself on stage yesterday." I said to just cut the story short.
" Team's song was also nice. At least now I know I have friends who can help me out during this competition. Eugene with dancing, Cai with the guitar then Lensah and Tem with vocals." Aggie said excitedly
" So what are you bringing to the table you little weakling competitor?" Cai asked while pinching Aggie's cheeks.
" My dear son, don't touch women randomly least you be locked up for sexual harassment. That will bring a lot of shame you our household" I said while hitting the hand that pinched Aggie's cheeks.
" Ahh, sorry Aggie. Excuse my touchy touchy hand. I will go back and discipline them for you." Cai said while beating his hand that touched Aggie's cheeks. This action earned another outburst of laughter from our table. By now, everyone in the cafeteria was looking at our table.
" You guys are just crazy. Haha, I think it is my good luck to meet you. You have made my day already and it is still morning." Tem said while looking at me.
" We are humbled by your flattery Tem. Welcome aboard our crazy ship. We promise to take care of you." Aggie said while patting Tem on the shoulder.
" Yeah P' , stop it with the humbleness, damn, it will make us cry." I said
" By the way, Aggie your traditional dance as also lovely. It was so colourful it reminded me of home." Cai said
" You performed a traditional dance? Damn I missed a it." I said while feeling guilty," I slept after watching Eugene and Tem's performance."
" It was not that good anyway. There was that talent Academy from China, wow, those guys are goooood." Aggie said.
" And what about the Thai group that danced to the song by EXO?" Asked Tem.

Then they started a discussion about yesterday which officially locked me out. I felt something like guilt eat me up. It's that feeling that you feel when you introduce a new friend to your family and he or she bond perfectly so much so that you feel like the intruder in your own family.
" Don't worry mum, I recorded the whole thing. Remember my uncles wanted to watch the performance also." I guess Cai noticed my silence and decided to cheer me up. Speaking of which my phone just vibrated signaling me that our chatroom was on.

I had to excuse myself with the excuse that I was going to take a quick shower because I felt sticky after the exercises in the morning. I think Cai had noticed my tenseness because he also followed me out.
