NINTY SIX

" I thought Eujin was coming to pick you up! Cai told me when I entered our studio.
" He decided that he was rich enough to buy for us some snacks." I said as i looked for a cosy place to sit
"He's exact words or yours." Tem asked and from the tone he was using, it seemed that something was off.
" I told you that he had panicked and you never believed me." Korn joined the conversation.
" What is there to panic about?"I asked. I wanted to take a nap but where this conversation was heading, I knew that there was more than what meets the eye.
" He felt that the other teams did more Bette than us siting the use of stage being that we just stood and yet others acted."Cheol said as he came to sit next to me.
" I knew something was off the moment he mentioned snacks. I told him that he will be the one opening the results." I said and smiled because as of now, I was picturing him panicking so much.
" Let's play a trick on him. We will not open the results but pretend that we opened and that we are last. Cheol, please look for some tears and act that you are so distressed that you even cried. Lensah will console you while Tem and Korn, just start talking Thai when he comes back. Let us make him regret why he has delayed us from knowing what the results." Cai said which was agreed upon by all the members.
"But, what if the results are posted already?" Cheol asked which made them look at me as if the answer was posted on my forehead.
" It will be posted tomorrow morning,when we will have a brief meeting to talk about the Friday activity. I think the mentors will be retained or changed. Rumors has it that every team will have their own mentors. Now the problem is that I don't know if is for the Friday competition or the Friday night collabo activity." I said. I was not sure but what I know is that the judges will become our mentors also at least from the discussion with the group leaders when we went to pick the results. We will be having different judges for the Friday competition but Jennie and Milli will be retained.

As we were still waiting Eujin to come back  we decided to read the performance.

I can't’t believe that we came out in position one this week. With the performance that Ja and Nogsaeg brought. I will be lying if I said that I expected to be the winners. Damn, being a leader is very hard truth be told.. I knew the making of all my members to rap will go a long way to give us the win and it did that.

“Hey, group leader, are you sure Eujin is ok? I think it is really taking long for him to come back.” That was Tem who said after a long time.

“Is he doubtful of our skills that  so much that he decided to hide himself?” Korn said as he moved to the keyboard.

“It will be hard to say that he is not tense. Have you forgotten that we just lost last week’s competition? Today’s competition was really competitive.” I said which earned a nod from Cai and Cheol.

“But I thought that we are to die together. He is the group leader, he is supposed to be here with us. We made this bed and therefore we need to lie on it.” Cheol said which made everyone to stop what they were doing at him.

“WOW!” Tem said and came to feel his forehead,” that was just so much wisdom dude. Where is the dictionary?”

“Do I look that dumb to you guys?” Cheol asked and then pouted “It goes without saying. No personal vendetta intended. “Tem said innocently.“True beshtie. You have never talked with much wisdom as you just did right now.” I said and everyone started laughing.

“Anyway, I am happy that we outdid ourselves this week and we will still shock them with our performance on Friday.” Korn said after the long silence.
