I was glad that was over. Not that I am exaggerating this but you should meet the jealous Park jimin to understand where I am coming from. I am glad that little Cai decided not to enter the chat room because all the blame would be on him and if he dared to push the blame on me, then the evil me would have just said that it was him who took the photograph for me... Yes am evil sometimes don't blame me.

At this moment, I had reached my room. I showered, changed and then here to the composition class. The production team was providing us with stationaries. The guys had already gotten a place to sit so I just walked up to them. They were discussing something that beat me, I didn't care so I decided to do what I always do best when I have a pen on my hand, calligraphy.. I am kind of addicted to it. My calligraphy spirit had possessed me to write everyone's name on their books. I was busy doing so when I was woken from my daze by a scream from a girl. Looking up, I saw her running towards our table,
" Why! Kun ge!" She shouted while forcing Cai to stand and hug her. Beside her was another cute Chinese boy who was just frouning while looking at the drama queen beside him
" Xiao Kun, long time no see" he said in Chinese. At this moment, Cai had pushed the girl off him and he was looking at the boy. From his expression, it seemed like he was not that pleased to see them here. Their conversation was in Chinese. Apparently, they were from the same talent Academy but Cai was not lucky enough to be chosen to represent the school so his parents decided to sponsor him. Cai's parents have always been that way when it comes to their beloved little Cai. After the arkward greetings, the boy literary forced the girl to follow him leaving a pissed off Cai sighing all the time.

" Hey Cai, don't tell me you are like a celebrity back in your school" Aggie said while pinching his cheeks.
" If not him then who? Seriously Aggie have you seen all this handsomeness that my little Cai possesses or are you trying to diss my family's little Cai?" I said while hitting her hand away from Cai's cheeks.
" That's my best friend at school. The girl is his sister. They came to represent the school at this competition. They didn't know that my parents sponsor me to come. We are competitive in everything. The school refused to choose me as their representative even though I am among the best performers they have. Chen was brought because the school belongs to them. I guess he never expected to see me here." Cai said while handing me his book so that I can calligraph his name also.
"What a twist of fate. I guess we are up for a healthy competition between the two of you ha!" Eugene said.
" Not really. I am just here to learn and to follow the footsteps of my famous K-pop uncles that's all." Cai said
" Mum, look who is going humble mode on us." I said while giving him back his book after writing his name.
" Wow Lensah, you are this multitalented African woman I see. What don't you know how to do. These calligraphies look divine." Tem said while outline his name that I had calligraph using his hands.
" Bragging much mother. Be careful that your head should not burst because of the pride in you." Cai said.
" Jealous people die young my son. " I said which made the rest of the gang laugh out loudly.
" I know right. I even shock myself sometimes." I said

At that moment, an instructor came and we stopped talking. The class was not that boring. We were instructed on how to get inspirations for the songs we wanted to compose. This class was not that new to me being that I am a teacher of Swahili literature. Our activity of the week was to come up with lyrics for the opening song that tells the world why we came for this competition.

That idea just put me off my moods. I had a feeling that it will be one experience that I will never forget. After that we went for lunch so that in the evening, we had to meet into our groups and organise ourselves for the opening act. Lunch didn't take that long to serve. We sat at our usual table. When people were going for their after lunch siesta, the five of us decided to look for a place and just chill out.

Tem told us about his experience as a trainee back in Thailand, Eugene about when they were about to debut but their contract was cancelled, Aggie about her experience back in her academy. It seemed that I was not the only one who had wierd experiences in life. I decided to tell them about why I could sing high notes comfortably.

When I came back to Kenya, I was around sixteen years. My parents decided to enroll me as a private candidate to do the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education. I had private tutors who taught me all that I needed to know. My biggest challenge was learning Kiswahili because I had not learnt it ever. My life in Korea rotated around being the best in English which came in handy because the language of instruction in Kenya is English. I knew few words in Swahili.

My marks from the KCPE enabled me to go to one of the best national schools in Kenya. The problem was that I never used to talk in Swahili. That earned me slot of enemies who
percived it that I was bragging. They even started call me a Barbie( Kenyan slang word for a rich kid) they had this habit of bullying the form ones where who were to sing lullaby for the seniors. It was not that easy because you had to stick your head inside your metal box, close it and then sing until they hear you. Some went to the extent of putting you inside the box. This was for the small girls. My experience in that school was more hell than what I experienced in South Korea. I had to tell my parents to transfer me or I would pack my things and go back to South Korea. The rest is history.

By the time I was finishing my story, all my friends were crying. I never felt touched as this. Ok, I don't cry that much. They were shocked that I was not sharing any tears at that moment. Cai had to explain to them that it is not in my nature to cry. Aggie came to hug me saying that I was a poor soul. Tem was just looking at me shocked. Eugene even came to try and feel if I had a heart.

I went through a lot in my life but one thing was for sure, I guess the singing the lullaby inside a metal box for the seniors made me a good singer. It was kind of a blessing in disguise. It was terrifying but hey, I left the experience. Many students transferred from the school because the principal always brushed off any complaints of bullying saying that the juniors were just lazy students who were used to being done for everything with their parents. I am happy that my parents believed in me that time.
