TWELVE

At five o'clock in the morning, I was woken up by a shake. Opening my eyes, I saw Tae who after making sure that I opened my eyes, went on to wake the rest up. According to him, it was the best time to exercise. Being that he was the one who bought the house, he made sure there was a gym in the house. I don't have an issue with the gym going process but given an option, I would rather go for a swim.

We have always respected Tae so whatever he says goes. So we went to the gym for a whole half an hour then we went to take our showers in our respective rooms. For breakfast, we decided to prepare Kkwabaegi that is twisted Korean doughnuts and naeng-keopi, Korean style ice coffee. We decided to prepare together just like when we were young. The story behind Kkwabaegi is that we used to be too addicted to them that we even fought amongst each other for them. We even had a timetable on who will buy them when. The rule behind is was that we could only buy the equal amount so that if it is eating one, everyone was to get one. My mother was very talented in the making of them so in order to satisfy our ever growing urge to eat them, she taught us to cook them.

After breakfast, Kai left us because he had an engagement back at the SM Entertainment studios. Tae and Jimin decided to accompany me two church. We were going to attend the six thirty mass. On our way, I called Felix just to make sure that we were going to meet after mass.

The mass as not conducted by Fr. Oduor but it was still ok. I was shocked because even though it was very early, the church we full. After mass, we met Felix and headed to the farmers market to buy food. Being that we were having the whole family except our parents and the young ones, we had to prepare a feast.

The farmers market was not that crowded so I decided to go in with Tae. He never wore any mask while Felix and Jimin who by this time had bonded went to the supermarket nearby to buy the drinks and other things we could not buy at the farmers market.

At around nine o'Clock we were back in the house. I had to request Kai to pick up Tuan, Jackson and Bambam being that they had never come to the house. Jimin took upon himself to help Felix choose himself a room, explain how he wanted his interior design ideas to be. While Tae and I decided to start prepping for the food we were to prepare for the whole family.

" So Felix, how do you know Lensah?" that was the first question that Tae asked when Jimin and Felix joined us in the kitchen.
" Well, I met him through Fr. Oduor who is our spiritual counsellor. Can you imagine that we met face to face yesterday for the first time when he came to church."
" Sure, but it seems like you are too close I thought you knew each other from way back but anyway welcome to the family. We are a very big family in deed. Trust me you will not get bored any time soon."
" I am humbled especially to meet you Tae and Jimin. You guys are my idols. When Lensah told me that you guys are her brothers, I was happy that through her, I could at least meet you at last. I have seen you at far during award ceremonies but now I get to hung out with you."
" Courtesy of me, don't forget that. You should buy me a gift." I said.
" Thank you for that. What do you want, I can buy for you and request them to deliver it."
" Ice-cream. Vanilla and cookie dough flavour."
" I also want ice cream" Jimin complained. He had been so silent that I had even forgotten about him
" We have ice cream in the fridge, what do you want more ice cream for you two. Stop disturbing Felix with your childishness." Tae said. Then to Felix," please don't mind these two. If you start buying for them, they will waste all your money."
" But Tae..."
" But nothing Lensah, if you want ice cream that much, I can call Kai to sought you out. Should I call..."
" No, it's ok, is it Lensah. Don't disturb Kai with this minor issue. We will survive."
" Jimin is right Tae. The craving has even disappeared." I said as I hand a knife to Jimin so that he help me peel the potatoes.

Kai has always been the displinarian when it came to Jimin and my's sweet tooth problem. Tae knows that he can't control that aspect so he always uses Kai's name to scare us of which funnily enough it always scare Jimin so much. At this point, Felix was really laughing at how the mention of Kai's name made us so docile. At this time, Tae was marinating the chicken. Felix was washing the tomatoes for me.

At around ten o'Clock, Kai came back accompanied by my GOT7 brothers. When Jackson entered the house, it just became noisy. That is one character about him. He is a walking noise maker. The whole house was filled with laughter.

" Hey, I thought you said that little Cai Xukun will be joining us." Tae asked Jimin.
" Yes, he must come. I told him that. How can he be in the country and not come to visit his Korean family?" Jimin answered.
" Wow, little Cai is around" Kai asked
" Apparently he came to audition for the music competition that Lensah also auditioned for." Tae answered
" Ok, am I missing something here. Hey Lensah how long have you been in the country much that you are even in a music contest?" Kai asked. At this moment all eyes were on me. Jimin pretended not to be there.
" Kai, calm down please, we will talk about it later. It is the main reason why we are meeting today. " Tae tried to cool the tension in the room.
" You all knew but never told me anything. I was the last one to know that Lensah is in the country, that now she is in a musical contest, that little Cai is in the country...seriously and then you want me to be ok, Tae, if it was you, how would you feel. Or you Jimin, I know you would have made heads to roll by now but because it is me,Kai, I should've just ok. Seriously,naneun eonjei gajog-ui il-won-i doeeossseubnikka?" And with that he walked out on us.

The whole room became silent. Even Jackson who was noisy was silent. All eyes were on me.

" Lensah, go and clean up this mess you made. You know he will only listen to you alone. Jimin, call little Cai and inquire where he is. We might be thinking that he is coming and may be he is lost. If it is a must, go and pick him from where he is staying. Go with Felix ok? The rest of you, follow Lensah so that she direct you to you rooms. Choose any room you want because it will be yours automatically. Welcome to our heaven. As long as you are our family member, this is your house. Afterwards you can come help me out with the food preparation. We have so much to do. Let's hope that Lensah will get through Kai." Tae said as he put the marinated chicken in the fridge.

At this point in time, my mind was on what I was going to do to cool Kai down. We left the kitchen and went upstairs. I directed my GOT7 brothers to the spare rooms then I knocked at Kai's room and went in without waiting for the ok.
