"Don't worry, my men are still there. I told them to bring your mother safely." Leon comforted Anika.
He just called the head of his team and left Anika's mother in their care.
Anika listened to this and was still worried. She didn't know why but had a bad feeling in her heart that this was the last time she would see her mother.
Just then, they heard a loud explosion.
The loud explosion was so loud it reached the leaving car.
Anika gasped and quickly looked back in the direction of the tower. She only saw the bright light shining in the place.
Her mother..
Leo quickly covered his daughter's ears in his lap and also turned back. After the loud sound receded, he took his phone with one hand to call his men.
When it was connected, he immediately asked.
"What happened?"
The chaos and sounds of running can be heard from the phone.
"Sir.." The man couldn't find the right words to explain.
During this time, Anika had stuck her head out of the open window. Her heart was clenching as she thought of her mother.
But right this moment, she saw a light flash from the tower, towards the sky.
And in the darkness, in the starless sky, a light orb lit up in the vastness.
Anika stared at it and something in her heart surged.
She remembered what her mother told her when she would be gone. She would go back to their own realm, and at the moment, she would see a bright star shining in the sky. It would be the brightest star she would see.
This memory whispered in her heart as she looked up at the sky. Her eyes suddenly glowed in gold light, and she knew in there, her mother was now at ease and at peace.
"Mommy.." Anika heard her daughter's call.
She turned back and saw that like her, her eyes glowed. But it was just a moment and the light in their eyes receded.
Leon was dumbfounded looking at his daughter's eyes suddenly lit up. When Anika turned to them, he saw her eyes were the same.
After they disappeared, he can't help but ask worriedly.
"What happened?"
Anika looked at the man, obviously stupefied by just what he saw, and was a bit embarrassed.
But she still smiled softly, remembering where her mother is right now.
"Mother.. she came back to our realm." She whispered softly. "This is what happens when our time in this world ends."
Leon heard this and looked closely at Anika, and at the sky she was just gazing at. He saw that in the cloudless and starless sky, a single star shone brightly.
He was still not used to all these supernatural matters, but seeing Anika smile, he was also relieved.
Well, he needed to prepare his heart for unconventional happenings starting from now, as his girls were goddesses.
Leon finally smiled and held Anika's hand.
"If that's the case, then let's go home." He whispered.
To our home.

The car drove for a long time until they arrived in the city. Adelaide, the little daughter, had already fallen asleep. But Anika was wide awake.
She looked out at the busy street and city life, and she marveled at the novelty of everything.
Her eyes cannot be separated from the large number of people, colorful lights and pictures, and containers that had wheels on them like what they were riding, but also comes in many shapes and sizes.
Leon saw the fascinated and curious woman and gently took her hand.
"Do you like it?" He asked her gently.
Anika finally took her eyes away from the scene outside and turned to look at Leon.
"The outside is.... it is very different from the tower.." She said softly.
Leon smiled dotingly at her and caressed her hair, running his finger through them in the process. He now found a new hobby, and that is to play with her soft and fragrant hair.
"You will live here from now on. I would slowly show you and our daughter out." His reassuring voice sounded. He also looked down at the little baby sleeping on his lap.
Anika heard this and her eyes brightened, and a smile blossomed in her face. She looked at her daughter and smiled softly.
'Baby, my prince promised us the world.' She thought wordlessly.
She didn't know what awaits them, or if where they were heading was in a better direction.
But she didn't know why, she trusts this man greatly. He was the first and only person that had gotten close to her and treated her as so, and maybe this was what caught her innocent and clueless heart.
She was like a blank piece of paper in this unrecognizable world, but something in her heart was telling her to follow this man.
She could also feel and see his heart. As of now, he still had good intentions for her and her daughter. Mother said that a man's heart was ever-changing, so Anika can't tell for sure.
But she can't help but wish,
Could you not change? Could you always be this way?
No one knows what will happen. But right now, her heart wanted to be with this man.

The car entered an exclusive residential area, and after that, the buildings and houses that could be seen became fewer and fewer. Not long, it entered a large gate which automatically opened for them.
Even in the darkness of night, the countless lights lit up the property brightly.
The car then parked in front of a large mansion that screamed modernity. Glass doors, automatic locks, fingerprint passwords, and intrinsic designs, the mansion was very different from the tower Anika lived in, which was the only building she had ever seen in her life.
At this time, the little baby had woken up and was also looking around with big and curious eyes.
Leon looked at her gently, fixed her soft golden hair, and carried her out. He turned to Anika and help her off the car.
With his daughter in his arms and Anika's hand held in his, he walked towards the chic and modern mansion.
"This is our home." Leon talked to them as he showed them the place.
"It's nighttime now, I'll show you around tomorrow."
They passed by the tiled path walk and in their position, Anika could see the properly cared trees, bushes, and a large pool.
This was the first time Anika had seen one and she can't help but look around more.
When they entered the mansion, a steward greeted them.
"Welcome back, Sir." The vigorous steward greeted.
Leon nodded to him and turned to Anika.
"This is the steward, he is in charge of taking care of the house. Originally, only the steward, nanny, and me are the people here. But I think I should add more help around." He introduced as they entered the automatic door and was presented with the bright and minimal contemporary home.
"This is your Madame, and the little miss." Leon introduced them to the steward.
"It is my pleasure to finally serve the Madame of this household," The steward greeted respectfully and was excited deep down.
It should be known that their Master was almost 30 years old, but he never saw him bring back a woman.
That was why although he was caught off guard at him not just bringing home his woman but also his daughter, he was still very delighted.
Leon looked at his daughter and Anika and smiled warmly at them.
"Well, this is our home."Edit
