Chapter 19 - Pretty dress

Anika purred in her sleep before she rubbed her eyes with her small hands. she felt light pecking touch on her skin. On her neck, cheeks, arms...

Leon chuckled as he looked at the sleepy little woman. He kissed the closed little hand that was rubbing her eyes.

"Good morning, baby." He greeted in his bed voice.

Anika finally opened her eyes and saw a handsome prince looking at her, laying on his side. His broad shoulders covered her vision, and only him could she see.

She was in a daze, looking agape at the exquisite man.

Leon smiled coyly and pecked her lips.

"Still asleep?" He asked her in a teasing tone.

Anika blinked her pretty blue eyes and finally remembered where she was.

Right. Her prince had brought her with him to his home.

She let out a small and shy smile at him and whispered softly.

"Good morning.."

Leon's heart melted and he was already loving this kind of morning. He kissed her lovely lips once again.

Suddenly, they heard a knock on the door. Leon turned to it and propped himself up.

"I'll just get it.." He went down from the bed to open the bedroom door.

"Gu morning, daddy!" Adelaide cheerfully greeted her father.

Leon smiled and squatted down to kiss her forehead.

"Morning, sweetie," He smiled gently at the little child.

Adelaide caught glimpse of her mother sitting up on the bed. She immediately rushed with her wobbly but fast little feet.

"Mommy!" She called as she struggled to climb onto the large bed.

Anika immediately caught her daughter and pulled her up to the bed. Leon helplessly watched his daughter leaving him at the door to rush to her mommy. He chuckled and closed the door to approach his two girls.

"Mommy, look at my pwetty dress! It's from daddy!" The little girl stood by the bed and turned around, showing her fluffy princess dress. Anika watched happily and excitedly at her pretty daughter.

It was the first time she saw her wearing this kind of dress. Her eyes sparkled with adoration for her lovely Adelaide.

"So pretty, sweetheart!"

Adelaide smiled flatteringly with her mother's words and bounced her small body on the soft mattress and Anika held her for her not to fall.

Mother and daughter were happily cheering on the bed, one was wearing a pretty dress, and the other wearing only a white sleeveless shirt barely covering her bottom.

It was during this time that Leon approached them.

Adelaide looked at her mother's attire and squatted beside her.

"Mommy too? Mommy," She tugged on the dress shirt Anika is wearing. She wanted her mommy to wear something pretty too. Adelaide suddenly had a light bulb moment and turned to her daddy.

"Daddy! Can mommy have one too?" She asked leaning on to Anika.

Anika smiled at her sweet daughter and glanced timidly at Leon. Well for Anika, she was fine to not have one. Right now she was more distracted by the cuteness of her little sweetheart. She was very pretty so she took her in her arms.

Leon felt a jolt hitting him as his little Adelaide asked him that. He then saw Anika's attire and wanted to hit himself for not dressing her up prettily first.
