Chapter 61 - Girl's day

The time of their departure arrived, but before that, the old Madame, who was Madame Lestrange, went to Anika to apologize.

"That time from the banquet. I apologize. I hope you spare my old face," The old woman said with a stiff face.

She held a lukewarm expression, but deep inside, she was greatly indignant.

She had reached such an age, when did she ever apologize?! But now, she could only grit her teeth and endure.

Anika looked at Leon in hesitation, and seeing him nod, she turned back to the old lady.

"It's fine, Madame," She responded softly.

Leon didn't let Anika be awkward for long and took her away.

And Madame Lestrange only watched the leaving car with cold eyes.

Arriving home, Anika spent her days in the mansion while Leon was busy with the project. And Sera felt distressed for her.

"Let's go shopping!" Sera invited, coming to their home early in the morning.

"Shopping?" Anika asked, tilting her head.

"What, don't you shop?" Sera asked with squinted eyes.

Anika turned to Leon, who was sipping coffee beside them.

Leon saw this and turned to Sera.

"Well, everything is prepared for her," He responded lightly.

Sera rolled her eyes.

"Blah! Don't be like those boring rich ladies! Don't you know how fun it is for a woman to shop?"

She interjected. She knows rich families like this, mostly customizing their outfits and things. But shopping is more fun!

"You should let her choose her stuff herself. It's a lady's bliss!" She said to Leon as if judging him.

Anika turned expectantly at Leon. Seeing this, he sighed.

"Well, you can go," He finally agreed.

Anika smiled and turned happily to Sera.

Before leaving, Leon didn't forget to advise Anika.

"If you get tired, just rest, okay? Because that little girl has the tendency to buy the whole store," Leon said, remembering Alexander's crisis every time he chaperones his little cousin during her shopping spree.

Anika was surprised and looked at Sera. The girl already stood outside by the car and only raised her brow, then smiled at them, not knowing they were talking about her.

Anika couldn't help but wonder how could a small girl shop so much?

When they arrived at the mall, Sera pulled Anika enthusiastically from shop to shop.

Anika was faced with rows of pretty dresses, and it was her that would choose what she would buy.

She only understood now Sera's words. It is fun picking your own things yourself.

"This one," Anika beamed and showed Sera an outfit.

"What?! That's not pretty at all!" Sera complained.

Anika looked at the fluffy Animal onesie, its name says Kigurumi. Anika thought it was absolutely cute. She also saw there were also for children. She and Adie could match.
