The next day was the parent meeting. Anika picked her dress carefully. She remembered the dresses of the other kids' parents. She then came up with a category of formal attire, even if she was not that familiar with it that well.
It might be that goddesses have great aesthetics, and she chose a beautiful dress fitting for the event. It was cream colored tweed Chanel dress.
Her skin which was milkier than the dress, glowed, complementing with it. Her golden curly hair was clipped with pearls. Her rosy cheek and cherry lips highlighted her features, and she looked fairy-like.
Anika smiled satisfyingly at herself in the mirror and ran out of the closet to show it to Leon.
She approached the man who was working on something on his phone.
"Hubby!" She called as she hugged him from behind.
Leon immediately put down his phone to turn around and catch her.
"How do I look?" Anika happily stood in front of him. She was now very comfortable with him and no longer shy. She would cling to him and could ask for anything she wished.
Leon dropped his gaze at the woman before him.
"Very beautiful, baby," He praised as he cupped her cheeks to kiss her. So adorable.
Leon smiled softly and took her hand to twirl her around. The woman turned around, her hair swaying with her actions.
Leon then caught her in his arms.
"What to do? I don't want to show you to anyone," He whispered lowly as he wrapped his arms around her tightly.
"Hmm?" Anika only blinked innocently.
Leon chuckled and kissed her cheeks hard.
"Let's go, before I hide you in my pocket," He said as he let go of her and took her hand to leave the bedroom.
The little woman only had question marks on her head. She wondered how could she fit in his pocket?

The family of three ate breakfast before leaving. They then entered the car to go on their way to school.
When they arrived, they saw the stream of kids with their parents entering.
Leon led his wife and daughter towards the room where the meeting would be held.
At the door of the room, he suddenly received an important call. He turned to his girls and saw his daughter talking to her friend.
Anika saw this and said to him.,
"I'll stay here with Adie. You take it," She said cleverly. It was really noisy here, and the phone call seemed important.
Leon smiled and rubbed her head.
"Alright. I'll just take this, I'll be back soon," He said to her. Anika nodded and watched him go towards the distance to take the call.
Anika looked back at her daughter happily talking to her friend. She also smiled softly.
Suddenly, she felt a tap.
"Mrs. Albrecht, can I ask you to fill this out?" It was teacher Daisy handing her a paper and pen.
Anika froze and looked at the things in her hand. She looked around, and she saw the parents writing on the papers.
She looked blankly at the paper and pen.
"Mrs.?" the teacher asked doubtfully when she saw Anika only staring at her in a daze.
Anika clenched her hand and was at a loss. Suddenly they heard a loud voice.
"Where is the paper to fill out?" A Madame with a fur coat asked haughtily, arriving at the scene.
"Ah, Madame, please wait, I'll grab some after I finish here," Teacher Daisy hurriedly answered politely.
The Madame looked at Anika with raised brows. She surveyed her from head to foot.
Tch. A young rich wife. Whose second-generation wife is this?
The woman might have thought that Anika looked young and was easy to bully. In high-society, it was always a hierarchy. And this Madame always thought highly of herself.
"Oh, we have a VIP here, well hurry up!" She waved her hand strictly.
Teacher Daisy and Anika looked at each other nervously.
"Mrs..." The teacher once again motioned the pen to her.
"I," Anika spoke nervously.
"I don't know how to write.." She bit her lower lip and answered honestly.
"What.." Teacher Daisy was surprised.
The elder Madame also heard Anika's words.
"What? Don't know how to write? From what barn are you?" The Madame spoke loudly again.
The people around started to look at their side, giving Anika a weird glance.
"You're just trying to hold up this line, aren't you?! Hurry up and fill it up!" The Madame ordered strictly. She thought Anika was only making excuses to make them wait.
Anika gulped down and looked around embarrassedly. She felt a hug on her legs and saw her daughter hugging her nervously.
"Mommy.." She called, her eyes fearful.
Anika saw this and tried her best to calm her expression. She smiled at her daughter assuredly.
She can't cry and break down in front of her baby. She will be scared.
She turned back to the teacher.
"Teacher, where, where should I write my name?" She asked. She only knew how to write her name, but she doesn't know how to read. She didn't know where or what to fill out.
Teacher Daisy jumped and hurriedly gave her the paper placed on a clipboard.
"Here, Ma'am.." She pointed.
Anika received them and took a deep breath. She then tried her best to write her name. She was a bit slow, but she still finished.
But the problem is, the long list of letters and blank spaces stumped her. She didn't know all these words. She gripped the board and looked back at Teacher Daisy helplessly.
"What now? Don't tell me you really don't know how to write?" The Madame who was watching her on the side complained again when she saw Anika looking dumbly.
Well, what do you know, it was actually an illiterate bitch. Maybe she was some old man's wife who was only picked up in the countryside. Pretty enough to catch herself a big fish.
The Madame thought gloatingly until a low voice rang.
"What's happening here?" Leon just came back to see this scene. His gaze immediately went to Anika, and seeing the paper she held in her hands, looking back at him distressed, he immediately got a gist of what was happening.
"Mr. Albrecht!" Teacher Daisy greeted.
Leon glanced coldly at the middle-aged Madame and turned to the teacher to nod politely.
"Teacher Daisy, my wife is foreign, so she's not familiar. I'll fill out this form." Leon explained.
He took the paper from Anika and held her hand.
Teacher Daisy had a look of understanding and gave Anika an apologetic expression.
"So that was it. Madame, you could have just said so.."
"Mr. Albrecht.." The Madame who was arrogantly scolding just now suddenly became meek.
She knew who this man was.
It was the head of the Albrecht. This is his wife?!
He turned horrified at Anika. She hurriedly called.
"It turns out to be Mrs. Albrecht! And you were actually foreign! Oh, really, my old brain is already getting to me. It was my slip just now," She said flatteringly, completely different from her previous attitude.
Anika turned to her blankly. She didn't know what to feel with this sudden turn of events.
But Leon was no longer pleased. He glanced coldly at the woman.
"The Dawson family's attitude, I am now completely aware," His cold voice sounded. a tone that could make anyone hear it shiver in fear.
In his mind, he was already planning how to make this old woman pay.
Madame Dawson immediately froze. She didn't know how to redeem herself and was opening and closing her mouth, finding the right words to speak.
But Leon had no plans of listening. He held his daughter in his other hand and said to Teacher Daisy.
"We'll fill this out inside," He said before striding in with his wife and daughter.
