The car ride didn't take long, soon Michael pulled up in front of a beautiful looking restaurant.

This is fancy.

Monèts.

The place was located a little deep in the city of pavilon. On the upper side, Green-hill. I heard it's been around for years, passed on from one generation to the other. The only structure that is older than the new facilities and building available now since more people are moving to the serene area.

Michael got out of the car, handing his car keys over to the young valet before heading to my side, after he grabbed my coat from the back seat. He opened the door, to help me out before draping my jacket over my shoulders. Intertwining our hands, He walked us into the building and I couldn't help but look around. It was far more pretty—breathtaking on the inside. The place gave off this vintage kind of look. The decor, the set up.
So dazzling. Sparking up the antenna that I have for interior décor . I really don't like embracing that part of me, but once it was something I loved doing.
Be it as it ties me to my mother, I don't acknowledge it much.

Nevertheless, The place was just so beautiful; screaming elegance. Oh and so many lights. My eyes lit up as I soaked in the interior. My mother is an interior designer. No matter how hard I try to suppress it, I always catch myself staring for too long trying to discover rare pieces. The paintings on the walls. A picture of a beautiful lady hangs on the wall as well. Maybe, that's Monèt. The lady who built this elegance from scratch.

I honestly wasn't expecting Michael to take us to some place like this after i warned him about fancy gestures. But Once again, he considered what I would like, putting me first. and he knows well enough my secret obsession.
We could just have sushi, or just order pizza with a large milkshake, tacos, anything and I'd still love it. As long as I have him, and we are spending time with each other.
I press my lips together, trying to hide a smile and appreciate his effort, it's wonderful.

I peer up only to find Michael staring at me.
"You're gloating." His orbs glimmer with pride and contentment, referring to how I keep glancing around like a child lost in a candy store. sparkles in my eyes, i'm literally on cloud nine.

"Shut up." I roll my eyes and He chuckled quietly.

I love finding archaic furnitures or decor pieces when i visit places. you can never go wrong with the beauty of those ancient furnitures, because the designs were so uniquely made.
Remakes are not bad, but authenticity is best. My mothers business offers those kinds of pieces when they're remodeling a home.

Sometimes I wish I had stayed ...at her company. Working, even if I hardly see her. we share a deep connection through this. But the desire for the health sector overcame that emotion and I don't regret my decision. And moreover, she's never there anyways, I wanted to be there for granny.
so what's the point. Like I said, I love her...but I hate her.
