"What's captain grumpy pants doing here?" Zelma, Michael's younger sister called from her stance at the window, her head peeking out. I'm 19 weeks into my pregnancy.

The girls and I returned from our little vacation in bora bora about three weeks ago and May blew past us like a blur. summer is almost upon us and i can't wait to be outside and enjoy the morning vitamin it provides. I haven't been able to contact Susan about the house hunt I wanted...I guess I'll hold it off. If he was able to follow me to that house, he won't stop at anything.

Zara just always knows when to be Zara. She offered us the trip and i didnt say no. It was one of the best things anyone could ever do for me. The best getaway, to a beautiful place just to forget about reality for once and focus on myself and my child. I love water, the ocean and the beach.

There's just this calmness and peace it offers. Since he showed up at the open house a week ago he has been trying to get me to just talk to him, more at times he wanted me to hear him out. But I can't, as much as my heart wants me to. When I see him, everything he said to me, his actions-the lies and - it  just comes rushing back to me. I see the guilt in his eyes and the remorse but I just can't bring myself to forgive him. To let go. So, it's no news that he's here again today. He comes and goes as he pleases.

I stir rolling on to my side.

"huh?" Aaliyah voiced, looking up from her phone. she quickly stood up rushing over to the window. my brows furrowed at the two people peering out the window behind the curtains. The rays of sunlight bouncing off their beautiful brown skin, giving it this magical glow.

"goodness." the smaller one with the red colored curly hair reaching her shoulders sighed, then she pinched the taller one with her braids wrapped up in a bun.

"ow!" Zelma winced.

"You scared the sh*t out of me," she accused glaring at Zelma as she slowly made her way back to her spot on the lazy couch in here.

"I thought it—"

"I said captain grumpy pants, not lucifer!" Zelma snapped, rubbing the spot on her arm.

"Okay... that's enough, now who is captain grumpy pants? Lucifer?" I break the banter slowly rising to a sitting position. I rub the tiny bump I had trying to soothe the sharp sting I felt. they both looked at me like I'd grown a second head, "don't tell me you've forgotten the code names we assigned during our past conversations AnnBug" Aaliyah's eyes narrowed to slits as she sat up, her double colored orbs heated as I betrayed her. These names she comes up with are just hilarious.

"um..." I managed, glancing between the two trying not to lose their wits right now.

"fine." Zelma sighed, she walked towards the bed, her feet stopping at the edge of it.
