ANNANovember has been stealthy and chilly. The sun joyfully came up, And from that moment Michael has not stopped calling to check on me since he was told that i left my parents home and now Aaliyah, Zelma and I are roommates. He almost made it impossible to negotiate,I kept assuring him that I was fine.
my goodness!
It even came down to me promising that I would stay indoors. No going outside by myself, without my little daisies. They had to be by my side. He was supposed to come home tonight but cirmustances changed and things are getting difficult so he said, he'll be home tomorrow instead.
i bummed, but it's worth the wait. i miss the crap out of that man it stings to think about it.
"Im not joking. I am serious Anna Mara!" He warned when i giggled.
well when my full name rolls off his tongue; it's a done deal.
No room for further arguments.
But my 'little daisies' , as he said have places to be and responsibilities to get to. So definitely I will be at home alone -by myself."they have jobs to show up to Michael!" I tried to reason.
"Then don't go any where until they are back and can accompany you." he paused, probably running a hand over his face. "Please...i just want you to safe. Be careful and I love you" he added, before ending the call because he had to get back to work. Thankfully, he should be back in the united states by the morning, and i can't wait to be in his arms. until then, i needed to get out of this house.
"knock knock" I announced waddling into Aaliyah's room.
"Hey" she replied.
"lets go to the mall..." I suggested. "Its a beautiful day outside. You know in fall we don't always get such a day like this." l quickly chipped in as she frowned giving me her best glare."What?" I feigned oblivion.
"You can't go out. Bed. Rest" She spelled out.
"those were instructions given Anna. Anndd, Dr Johnson suggested a lot of it. aaand your husband made it clear enough. " she replied, raising a brow.
"but—"
"but you could give birth any day!" she cried out before turning back to the clean laundry on her bed. I sighed walking in further.
"laundry day?" I asked trying to lighten the mood. She nodded, Ignoring me.
"Aaliyah?"
she ignored me, "I know all that. but it's hard staying in. I feel like a withered flower. It's been a two days..."i kept on talking ,
" I need sunlight—most Importantly, I need to grab some clothes and a few things for your god-daughter" Her ears perked up at my last statement.
She looked at me from the corner of her eyes,"g- god- god daughter?"
"yes. my recent ultrasound suggests I get some bigger clothes. It seems like she gained some weight" I chuckled patting my bump.
She gasped, "oh my God!".
"God-daughter" She repeated still in shock. "Oh my goodness!" She squealed, mumbling a few incoherent words before running over to hug me.
"Are you crying?" I asked dryly because its not a common thing with her to just sprig out with tears.
"Yes" She sniffled- pulling away.
What?
I laughed. if Aaliyah was anything-she definitely wasn't a cry baby. You would hardly catch her crying, and if you did its because she wanted you to, or a coincidence.
I gave her the chance to shed her happy tears in silence as I rubbed her back.
