Its been a week since my birthday. Life has been going on smoothly and I have been doing some interesting things that have taken my mind off my maternity leave. Don't worry, nothing hasty or stressful. Lots of reading, watching movies with Michael-oh I made him go with me to the theater to watch the minions movie again. We now take a walk down the shoreline and watch the sun set. It's so beautiful, my life is coming together slowly and I'm patient for it.

Aaliyah was born A year and a day after me. So guess it, her birthday was right after mine. It was fun and amazing. She didn't want to do anything. It's not a surprise, she does that every year since we met. But Zelma and I still dragged her out of the house in a pretty pink flowery sun dress that complements her skin so well, a little touch of make up and her red wavy hair to complete the look. We had breakfast, Went down to local farmers market to check out the fresh food they had...then we went to the spa, had lunch at Svets. Picked up flowers from George's garden and the most importantly we shopped for the kids at the orphanage Aaliyah  lived at for a while and spent the day with the kids. They were so happy and just living soul freely it made my heart so warm. It was perfect and I'm glad her beautiful smile stayed up on her face the entire time and the light in her eyes shined brighter. We went shopping for her and finally ended the day with a swim in the ocean , gifts and a sleep over at the girls apartment.

Sisters by choice. I love them.

"I want to do something..." I blurted out the other night when we were in bed just having one of our random conversations.

"Mhm." Michael hummed, his head nuzzling my neck while I raked my fingers through his hair.

" yh. Remember that old lady I told you goes on night walks at Miya and I's apartment and who almost stole you from me?"

"Yes." He laughed. A deep belly laughter that had the soothing vibrations coursing through me.

"Well... she sadly passed away because she couldn't get the frequent check ups she needed, aside from me her allowing me to check her blood pressure. She was stubborn—I want to open a free clinic Michael." I finally said and he raised his head to look at me.
He just stares for a little and his lips start spreading in a smile.

"Really?"

I nod. "Yes. Really."

"I'm ready to help you with anything caramel. Just say the word" he added before returning back to his spot.

"Thank you." I giggled, wrapping my arms around him, I pull him close to peck his lips.

" Allow me a few business days to put my portfolio together, then we can have a meeting." I delivered smoothly in a business like tone and that draws him out his spot again. This time with a tiny frown.
