"You don't want me..." I breathed, selfishly leaning into his touch. But I quickly pull away.
"I'm different and so not your type," I muttered, looking everywhere else but at him. He frowns slightly, eyes simmering.
"God, Anna." He exhaled, cool bre...

ANNA
The grand opening of the free clinic had finally come and it was just perfect. Michael and Gina-well and everyone else who supported me did their best with the finishing touches. Aaliyah had designed some flyers and had them distributed in town beforehand. Announcements were made across every platform. It's an honor to me—it means so much to me, coming this far and being able to provide the underprivileged in the city an opportunity to have access to a clinic where they didn't have to worry about the cost before their treatment. Mrs. Dawson would have lived a little Longer if she had frequent checkups and screenings.
So today, is the day that marks the end of all these shortcomings that steals from people their right to enjoy a free care and treatment where deserved. About a ten minute walk past the Pavilon Grace teaching hospital. A little off to the left side, was our free clinic building. The vast acre of land the hospital had was occupied but I'm not complaining. It's the perfect size and fit for the vision I had for the free community clinic. We come to a stop and I stare up at the white building with glass windows and doors. Right above hanged proudly the name of my accomplishment. The soft touch of the gusty wind on my face, I smile up at the sky taking in a couple of deep breaths. "Shall we?" Michael steps behind me, the warming sensation of his presence floods me. I nod my head my eyes flicker to the entrance where everyone gathered. A few people noticing me Offering waves and wide grins. Michaels arms rests on the small of my back, pulling me close into his side. He kisses my head, " I'm proud of you." He said, looking down at me with such loving eyes. "Thank you..." I managed wrapping my hand around his arm and we start heading to the building.

"It is a great honor, standing here today. Thank you all for your hard work and your support it is very much appreciated." Dr. Johnson bellowed. He was amongst the Doctors invited by the chairman to present the clinic to everyone. His opening speech was great and had everyone cracking up at some point. Michael and I stood at the front with the guests gathered around. Zara came back in time from Boston and she was here giving me her best support. Mason couldn't make it but generously sent in his donations along with my dad. Aaliyah and Zelma were here as well, then there's Gina, Lana Marking and a few other nurses and doctors.
"Anna?" I heard doctor Johnson say, the ribbon cutting scissors in his hand was directed towards me. "Your turn my love." Michael smiled down at me. He tries releasing our interlocked finger but held on tighter. Our eyes meet and he questions me silently.
"Come with me..." I whispered.
We walk hand in hand to the large red ribbon. I exhaled deeply and Michaels fingers tighten around mine. I look up at him and he flashed me a smile that had my heart racing. I calmly take the scissors from the old man and turn to the small group of people behind me. I swallowed, my eyes scanning each person there. I realized the new faces in the crowd were people from the city who had come to seek aid. A sudden need, sense of urgency nicked me in the chest. I am nervous. A little scared this might crumble up and die. But it's for a good cause and if I'm able to just help one person, I'll take that, than never giving it a thought and trying.
