"I'll just wire the payment on your account." Heilan said as he's busy fixing his art materials.

Humiga siya sa sofa, pinagsiksik niya talaga ang sarili doon para makahiga.

"Am I expecting five digits on my account?" She joked.

"You mean six?"

Oh. Benjamin pala 'tong kausap niya.

"That's a lot of money. If you're looking for a model on your next piece, I'm just around, baby." Ngising saad niya.

Now she's excited on how she'll spend her money. Should she travel abroad and never come back? Just kidding. Or might as well bring Heilan with her?

"Are you always busy?" She asked him.

Bago pa makasagot ito ay agad siyang nagsalita.

"Oh. Nevermind, businessmen are always busy. I'll be on Korea next week. Might as well spend my money well."

Hakob just simply smiled at her.

"Enjoy, then."

Inirapan niya ito. She's expecting pa naman na magpumilit itong sumama.

Hinatid siya nito pauwi. Kinabahan pa siya ng makita ang Mommy niya na nasa hamba ng pinto. She gulped and stop Heilan when he's about to go out and open the door for her.

"M-my mother will gonna see you. I can go out alone." Pigil niya rito.

"Is there any problem?" Takang tanong nito.

"Do you wanna get married right now?" She asked instead.

Kumunot lang ang noo nito, hindi maintindihan ang tanong niya but it means no, right?

"Ipapakasal niya tayo ora mismo if she saw me with a Benjamin."

"Oh."

"Yes, so after I get out of your car just leave directly, okay?" She instructed.

Hinalikan niya ito sa pisngi saka umalis na sa kotse nito. Inayos niya ang damit saka naglakad palapit sa ina. The gate is coincidentally wide open, mukhang kakaalis lang ng Daddy niya kaya bukas iyon.

"Mommy," bati niya at humalik sa pisngi nito.

But her Mom's eyes remained on the car she get out into.

"Who's that?" Usisa nito.

"J-just my friend, Mommy! Nagkasalubong kami sa mall and he--she offered me ride home." Palusot niya.

Tinitigan pa siya ng ina na parang tinatantya kung nagsisinungaling siya. And she prayed silently that her sweat won't come out.

"Let's go inside?" Yaya niya.

"You left your bag, Ckim."

Napapikit siya ng mariin ng marinig ang boses ng binata na papalapit sa kanyang likuran.

"Good evening, Ma'am." Magalang na bati ni Heilan sa ina niya.

"Good evening, hijo. Join us for dinner," maligayang aya ng ina.

"He actually have an appointment---"

"My pleasure, Ma'am." Putol ni Heilan sa kanya.

Napapikit siya ng mariin at pasimpleng sinamaan ito ng tingin but he just smiled and lean closer to her ear and whispered,

"I'm hungry, Mommy. Can't survive any longer without food." He whispered like a hungry child.

Poor, baby!

Nilakihan ng ina niya ang bukas ng pinto. She's so excited to welcome him in the house.

"Get inside. You're very much welcome in our house, Heilan." Her mother said and guide him to the dining room.
