3rd Person POV
Deep below Central, the Homunculus Envy stared at the wall in front of him, a large message written in blood, shocking him, especially considering the body that sat below it, his captive, Dr. Tim Marcoh... The message made it abundantly clear who did this crime...
"Vengeance"
Realizing the gravity of the situation, Envy grew furious, realizing who killed Dr. Marcoh in retaliation for all of the crimes he committed during the Ishvalan Civil War.
Envy: Vengeance, huh...? (Smashes the plate) Dammit! It's Scar! Marcoh must've told him about his role in Ishval.
Unbeknownst to Envy, he may be mistaken, as in the corner of the room, there sat a lone chimera, chained to the ground for safe keeping, however, there was a second leash on the ground... The chimera attached to the leash was gone... Taking the form... Of Dr. Marcoh...
Meanwhile
Back at Riza's apartment, Edward and Soma were finally leaving, heading back to reunite with their families.
Riza: Ed, I'll let you know if I hear anything new.
Edward: The Führer's basically hired you to be his hostage... Will you be alright?
Riza needed to stop for a moment, what Edward had said was true. Though she was given an official position, Riza was technically Bradley's hostage, putting both Roy and (Y/n) in a tough spot where they can't act as freely as they'd like for fear of Riza being put in danger.
Riza: Hmm... Well, it's all in how you look at it, I guess... This close to him, it just means I'll have a better chance to kill him in his sleep.
Edward: (Slightly unnerved) You scare me... (Whispers to Soma) You're gonna have one hell of a mom, kid.
Soma: (Chuckles) Heheheh, yeah. I know.
As Edward turns to leave and reunite with Alphonse, he comes to a stop, remembering something he needed to tell Riza.
Edward: Oh, yeh... Pass this on for me... Tell the Colonel and Lieutenant Colonel that Scar is back.
Riza: Sure thing, no problem.
Afterwards, Edward and Soma both head back into the hallway to leave and return to their families, however, it seemed as though Edward still had something to say to Riza before he takes his leave...
Edward: Hey, Lieutenant?
Riza: Yes? What is it?
Edward: I just want to say thanks... For telling me about Ishval... (Looks down at Soma) For telling us about Ishval...
Riza waves goodbye to the two kids, leading for Black Hayate to let out a small bark as a goodbye as well. However, as Edward continues down the hall, Soma comes to a sudden stop as well.
Riza was confused with Soma stopping, seeing as she had expected him to be exhausted and wanting to go back home to sleep, however, what he did next was a complete shock to her...
Suddenly, Soma turned around and ran back to Riza, charging at her at full speed. Riza was expecting him to maybe give her a justifiable light smack for what she did to his people, however, instead... Once he reached Riza... Soma hugged her... Burying his face in her shirt, saying something that was... Muffled...
Riza: H-Hey... Soma, you need to speak up. I can't hear you.
Soma: (Moves back) (Teary-eyed) I... I said... Thank you... A-And... Pass on a message for the Colonel from me as well...
