3rd Person POV
After the meeting with Roy, (Y/n) was quickly taken to the hospital for treatment on his head, since they had refused to get it treated first.
Naturally, (Y/n) protested, claiming that he was fine and was nothing but a scratch.
But he was quickly proven wrong when blood started to drip down his face and he later passed out from blood loss. Luckily, Alphonse and Alex were able to carry him to the hospital where he was quickly admitted into a room and soon after a few hours he began to wake up.
(Y/n): (Groans) Ugh... What happened...?
Soma: You passed out from your injury. It took the younger Elric and the Muscle alchemist in order to get you here in one piece.
(Y/n): I see... (Lays back down) Soma...
Soma: Hm?
(Y/n): Did you mean it...?
Soma: Mean what?
(Y/n): Soma... You called me your dad... Did you mean it...?
Soma immediately got quiet when (Y/n) brought up the fact that he had called him his dad just a few hours earlier, in truth he just blurted it out in the heat of the moment, but also, he had always wanted to tell (Y/n) that he did see him as his father.
Soma: (Mumbles) Yeah...
(Y/n): Hm? Sorry, I didn't catch that.
Soma: (Mumbles a bit louder) Yeah...
(Y/n): Soma, speak up. You know it's impolite to talk to people like that.
Soma: Look, it's hard all right!
Suddenly, Obito comes out from behind the curtain, revealing that all of Soma's friends were behind it as well, but Obito jumped out and chopped Soma on his neck.
Obito: Spit it out, dude!
Soma: Fine! Yes! I meant it! I called you my dad! You happy now!?
(Y/n) simply smiles at his sons words, finally being able to have him confirm that he did love him and he saw him as his family.
(Y/n): Of course I am, Soma.
The door suddenly opens and in walks the Edward Elric and Riza Hawkeye.
(Y/n): Hey, guys. What are you doing here?
Edward: Well, me and Al wanted to say goodbye since we're heading back home tomorrow, but since his legs are broken he can't be here. So I wanted to drop by and say bye.
(Y/n): I see. Good luck on your travels, I hope to see you two in top shape again.
Edward: Of course we will!
(Y/n): (To Riza) And you? What brings you here?
Riza: (Holds up stacks of paper) You're paperwork. (Drops it on (Y/n)'s leg) You have to keep up with your work.
(Y/n): Riza! I'm injured, I can't work now!
Riza: Oh...? (Turns and smirks) I thought you said it was, "But a scratch."
