Chapter 2 : Secret Training

            Later this evening around eleven, I secretly sneaked outside my room to go to the training hall to release my stress for what happened this morning. I walked down the stairs, entered the first door from the throne room, turned left and walked past several doors to go to sir Tear's room so I could practice fighting with swords secretly.

            Before I could knock on the door, a royal guard wearing a full helmet grabbed me and whispered in a loud tone. "Princess Leila? You're going to Sir Tear's room again aren't you?". I feel cold right now because he might force me to get back to my room but I hushed "P-p-please good sir, let me go, I will j-just tell Sir Tear that... that he is... is very handsome?" Oh crap! I can not think of any good excuse this time.

            "Follow me." he said.

            I followed him all the way back to the throne room up to Evil Dmitri's bedroom. I have no clue what he will do but I think if my father sees me, for sure I will be grounded but if he doesn't see me I could just tell a lie. "We'll wait here" the guard said.

            "No I'm okay. My room is right over here just a few steps away." I stepped and moved very slowly trying to escape but he quickly grabbed my arm and did not let me go until the Evil Dmitri's door opened.

            I hear someone laughing and the voice is very familiar. Its sir Tear! What is he doing here? It is so unusual that he would see my father one on one because he is like me, he despises the king.

            But what is he doing inside my father's chamber room? I am so confused right now! Is he a traitor? Did he killed my father and the next one is me? Why are the guards protecting my father are not reacting, are they an alliance? No, maybe I am just over reacting.

            Sir tear grinned and looked at my very distracted face and said "Oh! Well look who's here? If it isn't my little sunshine."

            "Sir Tear! Good evening what are you doing here?" I hope he will tell the truth and I would run really fast if something bad is going to happen. "Well, I have been expecting you." He said.

            "Expecting for what?". He walked near me and answered "I know what happened to you this morning with that young, strong and handsome boyfriend of yours."

             I was shocked and I replied in a loud voice "What? He is my best friend not my..." And then he butted in "Shhh! Shhh! I know, know alright. This is why I had a toast with the king and made him really drunk so you could practice with your sword and bow and arrow skills all night while he is fast asleep." After hearing what he said, I feel relieved so we went to the training hall.

            The royal guard with the helmet opened the door for us.

            I am so excited to grab my sword forgetting sir Tear and the guard behind me. As soon as I grabbed my sword I quickly went back to them and raised the weapon and  said. "On guard! Defend yourself!".

            Sir Tear did not moved from where he is sitting and just smiled at me "I am sorry for tonight little sunshine I am quite drunk too, I might hurt you on purpose.". I did not accept his excuse and I answered "You know I am good enough, nothing will happen. I promise!"
