Mini got lost in the old melody and started humming the song herself.

She came out of her dreamland and realised somebody was playing a violin. She looked around and saw a person who looked no more than a silhouette in the pale light. He was sitting on a chair on the porch of the terrace of Poonam's house.
Mini: (to herself) Yeh kaun hai?...ek toh itna andhera hai ki kuch nazar bhi nahi aa raha.
She was going to check on that person when Arya called her. Following which she went to her room.
Next day at the hospital
Neil was in his cabin, going through a report, when a ward boy knocked on the door. He entered inside the cabin followed by Ritwik.
Ritwik: Hi doctor sahab. Kya haal hain?
Neil: Hi. Kaisa hai?... Baith..
Ward boy: Sir iss file par sign chahiye the.
Neil took a pen to sign the papers but it was not working.
Neil: Yaar yeh pen... Tum pen nahi laaye sath?
Ward boy: Sir woh pen toh...
Neil: Ek pen toh sath rakha karo!
Ward boy: Sorry sir..
Neil: Ritwik, yaar woh drawer mein dekh zara...usme ek pen hoga.
He gave him a pen and Neil signed the papers. The ward boy left. Ritwik looked at Neil suspiciously.
Neil: What? Aise kyun dekh raha hai? ...aur yeh baar baar tu drawer mein kya dekh raha hai?
Ritwik: Woh toh main bahot der se dekh raha hoon. Bas Sunder ke jane ka wait kar raha tha.
Neil: Tu saaf saaf bol naa..kya hai?
He started reading some files again.
Ritwik: Wahi toh main bhi puchna chahta hoon. Kya hai yeh?
Neil looked up. Ritwik was holding the anklet. Neil recollected his previous meetings with Mini. First, their road accident. Second, at the garage and then at Poonam's house.
Ritwik waved his hand in front of his eyes and he came back to his senses.
Ritwik: Kahan kho gaya bhai?
Neil: Kya...kya hai? Payal hai aur kya hai?
Ritwik: Really? I know that Neil! Par tere paas kyun hai? Aur... Woh bhi ek hi?
Neil: Arre woh uss din...
Ritwik: Wait a sec! Have you found someone, Neil?
Neil: Kya??
Ritwik: Kiske liye kharidi hai yeh payal?
Neil: Abey kabse khud hi bole ja raha hai. Mujhe bolne ka mauka bhi toh de!...kisi ke liye nahi kharidi hai. In fact, maine kharidi hi nahi hai...aur ek payal kaun kharidta hai?
Ritwik: Okay fine! Samajh gaya main ki yeh payal teri nahi hai par phir tere paas kyun...
Neil: Arre tu kitne sawal karta hai!! Mujhe round par jana hai. Shaam ko milta hoon tujhse.
Neil left.
Ritwik: (to himself) Maine toh ek hi question kiya tha... Yeh mujhe pagal bana kar chala gaya? Of course, isne toh kuch bataya hi nahi.
