Mini lowered her lashes and her lips pressed together when her cheeks turned pink.
Preet: Yeh.. yeh jo tu iss tarah chehra jhuka kar apne honth sukarti hai naa, teri aankhein woh sari baatein mujhe bata deti hain jo bakio ke liye anjaan hai. Haan par... shayad Neil sab janta hai.
She looked at him with dropping jaws but again shut her mouth and looked away.
Preet: Ab bol bhi de. Itna bhaav kyun khaa rahi hai?
Mini: Tujhe kaise samjhau main Preet Kaure ki...
Preet: Mujhe kuch samjhane ki zaroorat nahi hai. Jo sach hai bas woh bol de.

She lifted up the pleats a little and showed her the anklets. However, Preet's facial expressions didn't change as she failed to understand.

Her face turned crimson red and she lowered her head. Preet hugged her out of excitement.
Preet: Mini, I'm so happy for you. Finally, tune accept toh kiya ki yeh jo kuch bhi hai, friendship se zyada hai. Aur usne bhi indirectly bahot kuch keh diya.
Mini: Bas oye. Ch..chal ab. Bahot der ho gayi hai humein yahan.
Preet: Toh? Woh dhund raha hoga?
Meanwhile, Neil was looking for Mini. He looked worried. Preet and Mini saw him coming towards them. He stopped in his way, and took a sigh of relief as he saw Mini with a bright smile on her face. He came forward.
Neil: What are you doing here?
