They smiled at each other while Neil looked confused. Mini noticed his muddled face and smiled internally.
Mini: Kya hua Dr. Oberoi?
He just shook his head, still looking confused.
Mini: Oh! She's my sister. Arya, say hello to him.
Arya had a huge smile on her face and waved her hand. Neil smiled back and then recalled something.
"Kaun aaya hai aapke sath?"
"Veer Balika."
"Aapko toh fever hai... aapki Veer Balika kahan hai?"
"Pata nahi. Kabse phone par lagi huyi hai."
"I am lost. I came here with my Veer Balika but I can't find her anywhere. Can you take me to her?"
"Veer Balika? Who's that?"
By that time, he understood who her Veer Balika is. He looked at Mini who was already looking at him with a smirk on her face.
Neil: Toh aap pehle hi samjh gayi thi?
Mini: Haan. Main uss din baat karne lagi thi par phir socha ki aap bhi samajh gaye honge.
Neil: Mujhe kaise pata chalta?
Mini: Kyun nahi? After all, you're so good at reading minds.
Her lips formed a curve and she raised her eyebrow. Neil slightly smiled back while looking straight into her eyes.
Arya: Yeh tum dono kya baatein kar rahe ho? Veer Balika, mujhe toh fever nahi hai ab toh tumne kyun bulaya doctor ko? Ohh.. tum mere liye ice cream laye ho?
Mini: Oye, ice cream ki deewani... Maine nahi bulaya. Yeh toh...
Neil: Main chalta hoon.
Arya: Par meri ice cream?
Mini: Arya!!
Neil smiled and came forward. He bent down to match her height.
Neil: I'm sorry Arya par mujhe pata nahi tha ki aap yahan miloge. Next time main pakka le aaunga. Okay, tell me, which flavour do you want?
Arya: The same flavour!
Neil: Done
They smiled and gave each other a high five. Mini smiled looking at them.
Arya: Tum ab yahi rukoge na?
Mini: Kyun? Nahi! Arya, yeh Masi ke kirayedar hain.
Arya: Oh, I see. Par koi baat nahi. Sath hi toh hai unka ghar. Tum mujhse milne aa jana ya main aa jaungi.
Neil chuckled and nodded his head.
Arya: Veer Balika, Masi toh ja rahi hain naa? Toh yeh akele rahega ghar mein?
Mini: Umm ... Arya, woh khud manage kar lenge. Chalo ab room mein jao. Bag pack kiya tumne subah school ke liye?
Arya departed to her room.
Neil: I'll take your leave now. Main bas aunty ko bulane aaya tha..
Mini smiled slightly and nodded her head.
Later at night, Mini received a call from Poonam who had already left for Amritsar.
Poonam: Mini, main raste mein hoon. Beta, ghar ka dhyan rakhio. Pata nahi kitne din lagenge mujhe.
Mini: Aap fikr mat kijiye. Main dekh lungi.
Poonam: Acha woh Neil se bhi puch liyo agar kuch chahiye ho usey toh.. waise toh main sab bata ke aayi hoon par uske liye toh nayi jagah hai na..
