A/N: Warning- This chapter has Sam talking about dealing with BDD (Body dysmorphic disorder), bulimia, and anorexia.

Sam stood there and wondered what was about to happen when his mother, Mary, spoke up. "We decided as a family to go along with what Mercedes has planned for you." His mom's statement caused him to look shocked at everyone before glancing at Mercedes. "Sam, we love you and want you to know if anything else happens, you'll come to us," Brittany added.

"Yeah,  Sammy, you're our big brother and we don't want to lose you," Stacey told him with tears in her eyes.  Stevie nodded and agreed before he stepped up to Sam. "Sammy, mama, and daddy told us about what happened to you a long time ago. Those people were jerks and the people who made those comments are jerks too." He said getting angry. "And that show mentioning that was a stupid thing to do. But you being a great big brother all these years while dealing with that, shows how much of a great person you are." Stevie said, wiping the tears from his eyes. 

Sam held his head back down and forgot how what he went through in the past and what he's dealing with currently affects those around him. That they love him the most and wish him good fortune. He knows that they're all right but looking at himself in the mirror he could see the imperfections.

"We're going to get you the help you need, Sam," Mercedes told him as she held onto his hands. "Don't worry, we're going to help you in every way we can." Sam sighed and looked up to see their sad expressions before clearing his throat to speak. "Okay, but I want to do something first." He said, looking back at Mercedes.

Four months later...

Sam sat on a bench in the property's garden as he looked out to the ocean. He closed his eyes remembering what happened the day he agreed to go ahead with their help. 

"Okay, but I want to do something first," Sam said, looking back at Mercedes. "What is it, son?" Dwight asked him. "I want us to do the second video." He said. The people he cared about looked at each other in surprise before glancing back at him. "Sam, I don't think-." Mercedes began to say when Sam interrupted her in a soft tone. "Cedes, I need this. Please. I have an idea on how the video can go."  He told her. Mercedes glanced around before focusing back on Sam's face, and nodded. "Okay, Sam, fine. We'll do the video first." She said before they all wiped away the fresh new set of tears from their faces.

Mercedes and the crew at Hudson-Hummel all prepared the set for 'You, Me, We' the second single that would showcase Sam. They began filming in the bedroom set before going between a few other sets that were outside in the snow,  summertime on the beach, and hanging out with friends and family including Stacy and Stevie in the scene. Walking along the park in the fall.

The many scenes were created for flashbacks. Mercedes and Sam rolled around the king-sized bed smiling and kissing while remembering the great memories they created together. Then the scene of them in bed turns into another flashback that fades away. Now Mercedes is no longer in shorts and a  t-shirt while Sam was in a shirt and pajama pants as they enjoy each other in bed.

She now stood dressed in a pair of blue Jimmy Choos, black jeans, and an off-shoulder blue cotton blouse. Her hair in its was naturally curly state and caressing around her shoulders and down her back. She walked over to the now empty space that once held the bed and continued to sing.

I  was surprised that you see me as  your kindred spirit

That  no one will ever break us nor take us

You, Me, We, are a love that transcends everything...

The song and the video ends on a to-be-continued with Mercedes arriving at a new home. She walks in and is surprised by friends and family with Sam slowly standing up, walking up to her before getting on one knee before Mercedes. He pulls out a box and opens it, causing her to stare down at him and the box in surprise before smiling. The video then fades to black.

Sam opens his eyes and stares back out at the ocean water as the warm breeze gently flows through his sandy blonde hair.  He's spent these last few months as an in-facility patient. He has cooperated with one-on-one therapy, group therapy, and family therapy.  They discussed with him and his family whether or not he should need to be medicated. Mercedes was included in his family discussion. She was surprised when she was asked to come. Not only the first time but continuing. 

Mercedes didn't get a chance to ask him or his family why, but once the first meeting happened she thought to wait on it until he was done with being in-patient.  They all thought that medicine wouldn't help him. Even Sam agreed.  It was something that medicine wouldn't help. He knew he had to try without medicine.  They all learned the root of the problem was getting past people who always had a rude, crass opinion of what they deemed was fact, when it was only an opinion.

Sam sat next to Mercedes as they all listened to Sam's therapist and each other. He eased his left hand into her right as he listened to his family's questions and discussions on eating disorders, especially Body Dysmorphic Disorder.
