The Model & The Singer

A week later, Sam and Mercedes continued to hang out. And before they knew it, they were fast friends. The two of them genuinely enjoyed each other's company. Everyone involved with the videos as well as Mercedes' circle and Sam's BFF/manager/agent, Santana, all sighed with relief. The first single titled, 'At First Sight', was about to be released and Artie had them on the sound stage turned into a nightclub as they filmed the main scenes of Sam and Mercedes. She was to sing as they make their way to each other before he holds her while she sings and they move to the beat.

But before they got to this part, they filmed two days and two nights in different places and different clothing changes. It made like they kept seeing each other over different days and nights before they came across each other at the 'club'.

Santana and Brittany were there along with all of Mercedes' people. Her backup singers and best friends Unique and Marley were in the video as well Mike Chang after he created some mind-blowing moves for them all to do. While they got ready to film the last part of the video, someone played a Janet Jackson song to keep everyone's morale up.

Sam began to dance to the beat, getting the attention of Unique and Marley. They went over to dance with him. Mercedes working with Mike on a move she couldn't get when they heard the mini-group laugh and cheer. The two of them looked up to see Sam in a small circle with her two friends. She glanced at Mike and grinned at how Sam could really dance as he kept with them.

"Come on, Cedes, let's go over there and join in the fun," Mike told her before leading her over. But when they got over there the song changed to laid back old school R&B song. When Mercedes stepped up to Sam, Marley and Unique stepped away. "Those were some great moves, Sam." She said to him. Sam smirked and shrugged. "I can show you more if you want." He told her before he extended his hand to her.

Mercedes took his hand and let him pull her closer as they rocked back and forth. He let his hands settle on her waist while her hands rested on his biceps. She glanced down and noticed it was the dance she had problems with. "You're good, Evans." She softly stated as she looked back up at him. Sam looked at her and pulled away from her then spun her around. Sam had her back rest against his front while he continued to rock. He leaned in and whispered in her ear. "You're making me good, Jones."

Her eyes went wide for a second before she started to smirk to herself. They both were caught up in the moment until a round of applause came from around them. Mercedes and Sam moved away from each other as Artie yelled. "Cut!" He said as he clapped. "That's a wrap!" Mercedes looked surprised then stepped up. "That's it? We've finished the first video?" She asked him.

"Yup," Artie stated. "That was all I needed. Sam Evans, you are the man. I mean you are gold, sir!" Artie stated as he stood up and saluted him before everyone stopped clapping and went off in different directions, leaving the two of them alone on the stage. "What just happened?" Sam asked, confused. He stared at them all leaving before he glanced back at her. "I don't know. I guess they got what they needed." She replied.

"Well, I think that calls for a celebration." Sam smiled at her before he clapped his hands. "What do you want to do?" Mercedes looked up at him and placed a hand on his shoulder. "I think it's your turn to invite me over your place." She said with happiness in her voice.
