Chapter 41 - Skipping school ♡

Max's POV-

We were back at school unfortunately. The last place on the godforsaken planet I wanted to be.

"I'm not afraid to beat her up Jane." I grumbled as we walked to math class together.

"I'm just going to ignore her, it'll be fine." Jane assured me.

"What if she tries to kiss you?"

"Then I will back away and tell her I'm not interested." She shrugged, "It's really not a huge deal Max."

"It is to me!"

"We just have to ignore her."

"It's hard to ignore her when she's up our asses!"

"Max, love, it'll be fine-"

"There you are. I've been looking for you all morning." A feminine voice spoke. I looked over to where the voice came from and felt my heart drop. It was the new girl.

She walked up to Jane and placed a kiss on her cheek. I lost all control and shoved her away from Jane and into the lockers with a huge bang. Luckily the hallway was basically empty. I held her against the lockers by her collar and gave her the deadliest stare I could manage.

"What the fuck do you think you're doing?!" I yelled in her face.

"Get off of me bitch!" She spat.

"Not after what you just did to my girlfriend." I mumbled angrily.

"You are dating her?" She scoffed, "Pathetic. I don't know how you pulled her."

I ignored what she said and gripped her collar tighter, "I'm gonna tell you what you're going to do and you're going to listen okay?" I asked in a threatening tone. She rolled her eyes so I banged her into the lockers again. That scared the shit out of her and she nodded quickly. "You're going to leave me and my girlfriend alone, you're going to take your desperate ass to a different class, and never dare to go as far as look at Jane again alright?"

She nodded again but that wasn't enough, I needed to hear her say it.

"Say it." My right hand switched positions and I was now gripping her neck.

"A-alright" She choked.

I let go of her roughly and immediately turned around to grab Jane's arm and drag her in the opposite direction.

"Max-"

"If you're about to scold me I really don't want to hear it right now. I did what I did and I don't regret it." I continued walking quickly with our hands intertwined, not looking back at her.

"No, no I'm not going to scold you. I just thought that was sort of.. attractive." She uttered the last part under her breath.

"Oh really?" I grinned as I continued to drag her through the school.

"Wait a second, why are we going to the front of the school?"

"We're skipping school to make out and sleep all day." I answered quickly, nearing the front door.

"Hey, wait! I-"

"You won't regret it trust me." I assured her as I pushed opened the door and pulled her outside with me. "We need this day off, I don't have the patience to deal with math class."
