Changes I made to the characters' lives:
Neil does not exist. Max's mom is wonderful and she's supportive of her.
Billy exists but he isn't a huge asshole like he was in the series. He is still a jerk sometimes but he still loves Max.
Jane's parents are Hopper and Joyce, and her brothers are Will and Jonathan.
WARNING!! i am currently trying to fix this book because when i first wrote it it was actual ass so please be gracious if you stumble across something super cringy that hasn't been changed yet. thank u.
