Eddie and Steve were driving while listening to the radio. They sang along and half danced, as well as they could while being strapped into the car.
Steve pulled up and shut the engine off. He took a deep breath and Eddie rested his hand on Steves thigh.
"Are you sure you want to do this?"
Steve nodded. "Yeah. I'll be fine. I have you."
Eddies heart melted at his boyfriends words.
He pecked Steve in the lips and they both climbed out of the car.
Their shoulders brushed together as they walked into the tattoo shop.
They showed the guy their designs and sat in the chairs next to eachother. Eddie was going first, so Steve could see what was going to happen.
Eddie didn't look in much pain, and his design was over in twenty minutes.
"It won't hurt much but it'll hurt more for you than it did for me." Eddie said, squeezing steves hand.
Steve chuckled. "I know."
The tattoo artist started drawing and Steve clenched his jaw. Steves tattoo was fairly quick and he took a minute to study it. Slowly a grin spread across his face.
"Now it's like I've got a little piece of you with me at all times!"
Eddie smirked. "I can-"
Steve slapped his hand over eddies mouth and smiled apologetically at the guy. He paid and the pair got home to their apartment.
They collapsed on the couch and then Eddie grabbed Steve's wrist just above his tattoo.
"Compare?"
Steve nodded and they both carefully unwrapped their tattoos.
On Steve's wrist was a guitar, but it wasn't any guitar. It was eddies. They both admired the detail in it before moving on to Eddies tattoo. His was Steve's signature bat.
The artist looked confused when they both ordered but he had done a spectacular job. Both boys were extremely happy with their tattoos.
