A/n This is my formal apology for the most recent 'Five Stages of Grief' chapter.

I picked Robin and Eddie up from school and they were chattering excitedly. For once, Eddie beat Robin to the front seat.

He threw his bag down at his feet and put his seat belt on. Robin sat in the backseat, her arms crossed, with a frown on her face.

"Sorry Rob. You know the rules, whoever gets in first gets the seat." I said, checking the mirror.

"Yeah yeah." She sighed and took a book out of her bag.

"How was school?" I asked Eddie as we pulled out of the parking lot.

He shrugged. "It was alright. I've got a mountain of home work to get done by Friday."

"That's garbage. You'll be able to do it though, just don't fuck around."

"Yeah, you're right. I just have to lock myself in my room and get it done."

"That's what she said!" Robin chimed from the back seat, not looking up from her book.

Eddie made a disgusted face. "She? Really?"

Robin rolled her eyes. "He, then."

"I don't remember saying that." I said with a sly grin.

Robin looked up from her book and met my eyes on the rearview mirror. She made gagging noises while Eddie laughed so hard he was gasping for air.

"To make up for that you should take us to the creek." Robin said, pointing to the turn off.

I shrugged and looked at Eddie. "Is it cool?"

He nodded and smiled. "Yeah, I've got no where else to be."

We drove down the dirt road with our windows down and car radio blaring. We screamed the lyrics at the top of our lungs, and our hair was whipping around like crazy.

So I took a big chance at the high school dance
With a missy who was ready to play
Wasn't me she was foolin'
'Cause she knew what she was doin'
And I know love is here to stay
When she told me to
Walk this way, walk this way
Walk this way, walk this way
Walk this way, walk this way
Walk this way, walk this way
Ah, just give me a kiss (Walk this way by Run-D.M.C)

We got to the creek and jumped out the car. Robin threw off her shoes and immediately ran into the water.

Eddie followed her lead and they splashed each other in the shallows. I keep a camera in the trunk of my car ever since we started the photo album, and I took it out.

"Oi guys! Smile!" I yelled out.

They both turned towards me and Robin wrapped her arm around Eddies shoulders. They both grinned and I snapped a photo.

"Okay now your guys' turn!" Robin exclaimed as she ran up the bank to me.

I gave her the camera and ran down to Eddie. We stood next to eachother, with his arm around my waist, pulling me closer to him.

Robin gave us a thumbs up and then Eddie swept me up into his arms bridal style. Robin grinned and got another photo.

Robin then returned the camera to the car and Eddie waded further out to water, still carrying me.

"Hey! Put me down!" I squirmed.

Eddie kissed my nose. "Okay princess."

And threw me out further into the water. Robin cackled as I swam back up to the surface and took a breath.

I glared at Eddie who was doubled over, his hand on his stomach, laughing. I swam at him and grabbed his leg, dragging him down.

We both emerged back on the surface, coughing and spluttering.

"Jesus Harrington, what was that for?" Eddie asked innocently.

I flicked water at him and Robin rejoined us in the creek.

A/n yeah this was an extract of one of the chapters in one of my other books. I lost a different chapter that was over 2k words and had to rewrite it (I'm still not quite done)

I get to see my granma tomorrow and then I've got my little sisters dance concert on Sunday night. (It's like a recital but they do it up really fancy and it goes for three nights in a row)

Hope you enjoyed n I'll see you later :)
